﴿وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ﴾
[ الضحى: 2]

اور رات (کی تاریکی) کی جب چھا جائے

(1) سَجَى کے معنی ہیں سکن، جب ساکن ہو جائے۔ یعنی جب اندھیرا مکمل چھا جائے، کیونکہ اس وقت ہر چیز ساکن ہو جاتی ہے۔

Surah Ad Duha Ayat 2 meaning in urdu

اور رات کی جبکہ وہ سکون کے ساتھ طاری ہو جائے


Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(93:2) and by the night when it covers the world with peace: *2

And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, meaning

*2) The word raja in the original does not only signify the spreading of darkness but it also contains the meaning of stillness and peace that prevails at night. This quality of night deeply relates to the theme that follows.

  4. تو ہم نے فیصلہ (کرنے کا طریق) سلیمان کو سمجھا دیا۔ اور ہم نے دونوں
  5. اور یہ کہ وہی مارتا اور جلاتا ہے
  6. اُنہوں نے (موسٰی سے) کہا کہ میں چاہتا ہوں اپنی دو بیٹیوں میں سے ایک
  7. اور جب ان سے کہا جائے کہ آؤ رسول خدا تمہارے لئے مغفرت مانگیں تو
  8. اور یتیم کے مال کے پاس بھی نہ جانا مگر ایسے طریق سے کہ بہت
  9. خدا نے فرمایا کہ ڈرو مت میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں (اور) سنتا اور دیکھتا ہوں
  10. اور رات کی قسم جب ختم ہونے لگتی ہے
