﴿لَّا تَجْعَلْ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ فَتَقْعُدَ مَذْمُومًا مَّخْذُولًا﴾

تو اللہ کے ساتھ کوئی دوسرا معبود نہ بنا ورنہ ملامت زدہ اور بے یار و مدد گار بیٹھا رہ جائیگا


Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(17:22) Do not associate another deity with Allah, *24 otherwise you shall he reduced to a state of ignominy and helplessness.

Do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity and [thereby] become meaning

*24) Or it can be rendered like this: "Do not invent another deity besides Allah", or "Do not set up another as a deity beside Allah."

La tajAAal maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara fataqAAuda mathmooman makhthoolan

और देखो कहीं ख़ुदा के साथ दूसरे को (उसका) शरीक न बनाना वरना तुम बुरे हाल में ज़लील रुसवा बैठै के बैठें रह जाओगे

স্থির করো না আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন উপাস্য। তাহলে তুমি নিন্দিত ও অসহায় হয়ে পড়বে।

  3. اور لوط (کا قصہ یاد کرو) جب ان کو ہم نے حکم (یعنی حکمت ونبوت)
  4. تو ہم خدا کے خالص بندے ہوتے
  5. اور نہ خیال کرتا ہوں کہ قیامت برپا ہو۔ اور اگر میں اپنے پروردگار کی
  6. ہر خبر کے لئے ایک وقت مقرر ہے اور تم کو عنقریب معلوم ہوجائے گا
  7. (مسلمانو) سب نمازیں خصوصاً بیچ کی نماز (یعنی نماز عصر) پورے التزام کے ساتھ ادا
  8. اور یہ بھی (بتاتا ہے) کہ جو آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے اُن کے لئے
  9. اور ہم نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو اور جو (مخلوقات) ان میں ہے اس کو
  10. کیا تم کو معلوم نہیں کہ آسمانوں اور زمین میں خدا ہی کی سلطنت ہے؟
