اور مجھے کیا ہے میں اس کی پرستش نہ کروں جس نے مجھے پیدا کیا اور اسی کی طرف تم کو لوٹ کر جانا ہے

Surah Ya-Sin Full Urdu

(1) اپنے مسلک توحید کی وضاحت کی، جس سے مقصد اپنی قوم کی خیر خواہی اور ان کی صحیح رہنمائی ہے۔ یہ بھی ممکن ہے کہ اس کی قوم نے اس سے کہا ہو کہ کیا تو بھی اس معبود کی عبادت کرتا ہے، جس کی طرف یہ مرسلین ہمیں بلا رہےہیں اور ہمارے معبودوں کو تو بھی چھوڑ بیٹھا ہے؟ جس کے جواب میں اس نے یہ کہا۔ مفسرین نے اس شخص کانام حبیب نجار بتلایا ہے، واللہ اعلم۔

آخر کیوں نہ میں اُس ہستی کی بندگی کروں جس نے مجھے پیدا کیا ہے اور جس کی طرف تم سب کو پلٹ کر جانا ہے؟

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(36:22) Why should I not serve the One Who created me and to Whom all of you shall be sent back? *18

And why should I not worship He who created me and to meaning

*18) This sentence has two parts. The first part is a masterpiece of reasoning, the second of the wisdom of preaching. In the first part he says: "To worship the Creator is the demand of both reason and nature; it would be highly unreasonable that one should worship those who have not created him and should deny to be the servant of Him Who has created him." In the second part he warns his people to the effect: "All of you ultimately have to die and return to that God adoption of Whose service you object to. Therefore, you should consider for yourselve's as to what goodness you could expect by turning away from Him."

Wama liya la aAAbudu allathee fataranee wailayhi turjaAAoona

और मुझे क्या (ख़ब्त) हुआ है कि जिसने मुझे पैदा किया है उसकी इबादत न करूँ हालाँकि तुम सब के बस (आख़िर) उसी की तरफ लौटकर जाओगे
