﴿قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَا إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ﴾
[ البقرة: 32]
انہوں نے کہا، تو پاک ہے۔ جتنا علم تو نے ہمیں بخشا ہے، اس کے سوا ہمیں کچھ معلوم نہیں۔ بے شک تو دانا (اور) حکمت والا ہے

انہوں نے عرض کیا: "نقص سے پاک تو آپ ہی کی ذات ہے، ہم تو بس اتنا ہی علم رکھتے ہیں، جتنا آپ نے ہم کو دے دیا ہے حقیقت میں سب کچھ جاننے اور سمجھنے والا آپ کے سوا کوئی نہیں"
Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(2:32) They replied, "Glory be to You. You alone are free from defect. We possess only that much knowledge which You have given us. *43 Indeed You alone are All-Knowing and All-Wise."
They said, "Exalted are You; we have no knowledge except what You meaning
*43). It seems that the knowledge of each angel and each genre of angel is confined to its own sphere of competence. The angels appointed to administer, let us say, things relating to air have full knowledge about this subject but have no knowledge, say, about water, and so on and so forth. Man's range of knowledge, however, is comprehensive. Even if man's information in a particular area may be narrower than that of the angel directly concerned with it, the total range of his knowledge has a comprehensiveness which has not been granted to the angels.

English - Sahih International
They said, "Exalted are You; we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the Knowing, the Wise."

तब फ़रिश्तों ने (आजिज़ी से) अर्ज़ की तू (हर ऐब से) पाक व पाकीज़ा है हम तो जो कुछ तूने बताया है उसके सिवा कुछ नहीं जानते तू बड़ा जानने वाला, मसलहतों का पहचानने वाला है

তারা বলল, তুমি পবিত্র! আমরা কোন কিছুই জানি না, তবে তুমি যা আমাদিগকে শিখিয়েছ (সেগুলো ব্যতীত) নিশ্চয় তুমিই প্রকৃত জ্ঞানসম্পন্ন, হেকমতওয়ালা।
