﴿قُلِ ادْعُوا الَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُم مِّن دُونِهِ فَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ كَشْفَ الضُّرِّ عَنكُمْ وَلَا تَحْوِيلًا﴾

کہو کہ (مشرکو) جن لوگوں کی نسبت تمہیں (معبود ہونے کا) گمان ہے ان کو بلا کر دیکھو۔ وہ تم سے تکلیف کے دور کرنے یا اس کے بدل دینے کا کچھ بھی اختیار نہیں رکھتے

Surah Al Israa Ayat 56 meaning in urdu

اِن سے کہو، پکار دیکھو اُن معبودوں کو جن کو تم خدا کے سوا (اپنا کارساز) سمجھتے ہو، وہ کسی تکلیف کو تم سے نہ ہٹا سکتے ہیں نہ بدل سکتے ہیں

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(17:56) Say to them, "You may invoke for help those deities whom you consider to be (your helpers) beside Allah: They will not be able to relieve you of any trouble nor change it. " *64

Say, "Invoke those you have claimed [as gods] besides Him, for they meaning

*64) This warning helps to elaborate the Doctrine of Tauhid and negate shirk. According to this, shirk is not confined merely to falling prostrate before any other than Allah but it is also shirk to pray to or invoke the help of any other than AIIah; for praying to or calling for help any other than Allah is in reality a kind of worship. Therefore, the one who invokes for help any other than Allah is as much guilty of shirk as the worshipper of an idol. This verse also shows clearly that none other than Allah has any power to attend to prayers and relieve any one of trouble or alter any one's bad condition. Hence, if one believes that some one other than Allah has any power, he shall be guilty of shirk.

Quli odAAu allatheena zaAAamtum min doonihi fala yamlikoona kashfa alddurri AAankum wala tahweelan

English - Sahih International

Say, "Invoke those you have claimed [as gods] besides Him, for they do not possess the [ability for] removal of adversity from you or [for its] transfer [to someone else]."

Quran Hindi translation

(ऐ रसूल) तुम उनसे कह दों कि ख़ुदा के सिवा और जिन लोगों को माबूद समझते हो उनको (वक्त पडे) पुकार के तो देखो कि वह न तो तुम से तुम्हारी तकलीफ ही दफा कर सकते हैं और न उसको बदल सकते हैं

বলুনঃ আল্লাহ ব্যতীত যাদেরকে তোমরা উপাস্য মনে কর, তাদেরকে আহবান কর। অথচ ওরা তো তোমাদের কষ্ট দুর করার ক্ষমতা রাখে না এবং তা পরিবর্তনও করতে পারে না।
