Verse 77 from surah An-Nahl

﴿وَلِلَّهِ غَيْبُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَا أَمْرُ السَّاعَةِ إِلَّا كَلَمْحِ الْبَصَرِ أَوْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ﴾
[ النحل: 77]

اور آسمانوں اور زمین کا علم خدا ہی کو ہے اور (خدا کے نزدیک) قیامت کا آنا یوں ہے جیسے آنکھ کا جھپکنا بلکہ اس سے بھی جلد تر۔ کچھ شک نہیں کہ خدا ہر چیز پر قادر ہے

Surah An-Nahl Full Urdu

(1) یعنی آسمان اور زمین میں جو چیزیں غائب ہیں اور وہ بیشمار ہیں اور انہی میں قیامت کا علم ہے۔ ان کا علم اللہ کے سوا کسی کو نہیں۔ اس لئے عبادت کے لائق بھی صرف ایک اللہ ہے نہ کہ وہ پتھر کے بت جن کو کسی چیز کا علم نہیں نہ وہ کسی کو نفع نقصان پہنچانے پر قادر ہیں۔
(2) یعنی اس کی قدرت کاملہ کی دلیل ہے کہ وسیع وعریض کائنات اس کے حکم سے پلک جھپکنے میں بلکہ اس سے بھی کم لمحے میں تباہ برباد ہو جائے گی۔ یہ بات بطور مبالغہ نہیں ہے بلکہ ایک حقیقت واقعہ ہے کیونکہ اس کی قدرت غیر متناہی ہے۔ جس کا ہم اندازہ نہیں کر سکتے، اس کے ایک لفظ ”کُنْ“ سے سب کچھ ہو جاتا ہے جو وہ چاہتا ہے۔ تو یہ قیامت بھی اس کے کُنْ (ہو جا) کہنے سے برپا ہو جائے گی۔

اور زمین و آسمان کے پوشیدہ حقائق کا علم تو اللہ ہی کو ہے اور قیامت کے برپا ہونے کا معاملہ کچھ دیر نہ لے گا مگر بس اتنی کہ جس میں آدمی کی پلک جھپک جائے، بلکہ اس سے بھی کچھ کم حقیقت یہ ہے کہ اللہ سب کچھ کر سکتا ہے

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(16:77) Allah alone has the knowledge of all the "unknown" things of the heavens and the earth. *70 As regards the coming of the Resurrection, it will not take more time than is taken in the twinkling of an eye rather less than this; *71 the fact is that Allah has power over all things.

And to Allah belongs the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the meaning

*70) The subsequent sentence shows that this is the answer w a question which was frequently put to the Holy Prophet by the disbelievers of Makkah. The question which has not been cited was this: If the Resurrection you so often talk of is really coming, Iet us know the date of its coming.
*71) That is, "Don't be under the delusion that the Resurrection will come gradually and take a long time: you will neither be able to sec it coming at a distance nor guard against it and make preparations to meet it. For it will come suddenly without any previous notice, in the twinkling of an eye or even take less time than this. Therefore, now is the time to consider this matter seriously and to decide about your attitude towards it. You should not depend upon this false hope that there is still a long time in the coming of the Resurrection and you will set matters right with Allah when you will see it coming" .
It may be pointed out that the Resurrection has been mentioned here during the discussion on Tauhid in order to warn the people that the choice between the doctrines of Tauhid and shirk is not merely a theoretical question. For that choice determines different courses of life for which they will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection. They have also been warned that it will come aII of a sudden at some unknown time. Therefore, they should be very careful to make that choice which will determine their success or failure on that Day.

Walillahi ghaybu alssamawati waalardi wama amru alssaAAati illa kalamhi albasari aw huwa aqrabu inna Allaha AAala kulli shayin qadeerun

English - Sahih International

And to Allah belongs the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. And the command for the Hour is not but as a glance of the eye or even nearer. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

Quran Hindi translation

और सारे आसमान व ज़मीन की ग़ैब की बातें ख़ुदा ही के लिए मख़सूस हैं और ख़ुदा क़यामत का वाकेए होना तो ऐसा है जैसे पलक का झपकना बल्कि इससे भी जल्दी बेशक ख़ुदा हर चीज़ पर क़ुदरत कामेला रखता है

নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের গোপন রহস্য আল্লাহর কাছেই রয়েছে। কিয়ামতের ব্যাপারটি তো এমন, যেমন চোখের পলক অথবা তার চাইতেও নিকটবর্তী। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর শক্তিমান।
