﴿وَقُلْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اسْكُنُوا الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ جِئْنَا بِكُمْ لَفِيفًا﴾
[ الإسراء: 104]

اور اس کے بعد بنی اسرائیل سے کہا کہ تم اس ملک میں رہو سہو۔ پھر جب آخرت کا وعدہ آجائے گا تو ہم تم سب کو جمع کرکے لے آئیں گے

Surah Al-Isra Full Urdu

(1) بظاہر اس سرزمین جس سے فرعون نے موسیٰ (عليه السلام) اور ان کی قوم کو نکالنے کا ارادہ کیا تھا۔ مگر تاریخ بنی اسرائیل کی شہادت یہ ہے کہ مصر سے نکلنے کے بعد دوبارہ مصر نہیں گئے، بلکہ چالیس سال میدان تیہ میں گزار کر فلسطین میں داخل ہوئے۔ اس کی شہادت سورہ اعراف وغیرہ میں قرآن کے بیان سے ملتی ہے۔ اس لئے صحیح یہی ہے کہ اس سے مراد فلسطین کی سرزمین ہے۔

اور اس کے بعد بنی اسرائیل سے کہا کہ اب تم زمین میں بسو، پھر جب آخرت کے وعدے کا وقت آن پورا ہوگا تو ہم تم سب کو ایک ساتھ لا حاضر کریں گے

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(17:104) Then we said to the Israelites, "Now you should settle down in the land *117 and when the prescribed time of Resurrection comes about, We will gather all of you together. "

And We said after Pharaoh to the Children of Israel, "Dwell in meaning

*117) This part of the story of Pharaoh has been related here because it applied exactly to the mushrIks of Makkah who were doing their worst to uproot the Holy Prophet and the Believers from the land of Arabia. This story, so to say, tells them, "Pharaoh resolved to uproot Moses and the Israelites but was himself completely annihilated along with his followers and Moses and his followers settled down in the land. Likewise, if you persist on the same way, you will surely meet with the same end. "

Waqulna min baAAdihi libanee israeela oskunoo alarda faitha jaa waAAdu alakhirati jina bikum lafeefan

English - Sahih International

And We said after Pharaoh to the Children of Israel, "Dwell in the land, and when there comes the promise of the Hereafter, We will bring you forth in [one] gathering."

और उसके बाद हमने बनी इसराईल से कहा कि (अब तुम ही) इस मुल्क में (खूब आराम से) रहो सहो फिर जब आख़िरत का वायदा आ पहुँचेगा तो हम तुम सबको समेट कर ले आएँगें

তারপর আমি বনী ইসলাঈলকে বললামঃ এ দেশে তোমরা বসবাস কর। অতঃপর যখন পরকালের ওয়াদা বাস্তবায়িত হবে, তখন তোমাদের কে জড়ো করে নিয়ে উপস্থিত হব।
