Verse 136 from surah Al-Baqarah

﴿قُولُوا آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَمَا أُوتِيَ النَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ﴾
[ البقرة: 136]

(مسلمانو) کہو کہ ہم خدا پر ایمان لائے اور جو (کتاب) ہم پر اتری، اس پر اور جو (صحیفے) ابراہیم اور اسمٰعیل اور اسحاق اور یعقوب اور ان کی اولاد پر نازل ہوئے ان پر اور جو (کتابیں) موسیٰ اور عیسی کو عطا ہوئیں، ان پر، اور جو اور پیغمبروں کو ان کے پروردگار کی طرف سے ملیں، ان پر (سب پر ایمان لائے) ہم ان پیغمروں میں سے کسی میں کچھ فرق نہیں کرتے اور ہم اسی (خدائے واحد) کے فرمانبردار ہیں

Surah Al-Baqarah Full Urdu

(1) یعنی ایمان یہ ہے کہ تمام انبیا (عليهم السلام) کو اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے جو جو کچھ بھی ملا،یا نازل ہوا سب پر ایمان لایا جائے، کسی بھی کتاب یا رسول کا انکار نہ کیا جائے۔ کسی ایک کتاب یا نبی کا ماننا، کسی کو نہ ماننا، یہ انبیا کے درمیان تفریق ہے جس کو اسلام نے جائز نہیں رکھا ہے۔ البتہ عمل اب صرف قرآن کریم کے ہی احکام پر ہوگا۔ پچھلی کتابوں میں لکھی ہوئی باتوں پر نہیں کیوں کہ ایک تووہ اصلی حالت میں نہیں رہیں، تحریف شدہ ہیں، دوسرے قرآن نے ان سب کو منسوخ کردیا ہے۔

مسلمانو! کہو کہ: "ہم ایمان لائے اللہ پر اور اس ہدایت پر جو ہماری طرف نازل ہوئی ہے اور جو ابراہیمؑ، اسماعیلؑ، اسحاقؑ، یعقوبؑ اور اولاد یعقوبؑ کی طرف نازل ہوئی تھی اور جو موسیٰؑ اور عیسیٰؑ اور دوسرے تمام پیغمبروں کو اُن کے رب کی طرف سے دی گئی تھی ہم ان کے درمیان کوئی تفریق نہیں کرتے اور ہم اللہ کے مسلم ہیں"


Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(2:136) O Muslims, say to them, "We believe in Allah and the Guidance which has been sent down to us and which was sent to Abraham, Ismail , Isaac and Jacob and his descendants and which was given by their Lord to Moses and Jesus and to all other Prophets. We do not discriminate against any of them *136 and we have completely surrendered to Allah as Muslims."

Say, [O believers], "We have believed in Allah and what has been meaning

*136). To make no distinction between the Prophets means not to hold some of them to he right and the others to be wrong, not to recognize some to have been the recipients of Divine revelation and the others not. All the Prophets sent by God invited men to the same Truth and to the same way. Hence for anyone who is really a lover of Truth it is necessary that he should recognize all of them to be its bearers. Those who believe in one particular Prophet and disbelieve in others do not in fact believe even in that particular Prophet in whom they, claim to believe, for they have not grasped the nature of that universal 'Straight Way' (al-sirat al-mustaqim) which was enunciated by Moses, Jesus and the other Prophets. When such people claim to foliow a Prophet they, really mean that they do so out of deference to their forefathers. Their religion in fact consists of bigoted ancestor-worship and blind imitation of inherited customs rather than sincere adherence to the directives of any Prophet of God.

Qooloo amanna biAllahi wama onzila ilayna wama onzila ila ibraheema waismaAAeela waishaqa wayaAAqooba waalasbati wama ootiya moosa waAAeesa wama ootiya alnnabiyyoona min rabbihim la nufarriqu bayna ahadin minhum wanahnu lahu muslimoona

Say, [O believers], "We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."

(और ऐ मुसलमानों तुम ये) कहो कि हम तो खुदा पर ईमान लाए हैं और उस पर जो हम पर नाज़िल किया गया (कुरान) और जो सहीफ़े इबराहीम व इसमाइल व इसहाक़ व याकूब और औलादे याकूब पर नाज़िल हुए थे (उन पर) और जो किताब मूसा व ईसा को दी गई (उस पर) और जो और पैग़म्बरों को उनके परवरदिगार की तरफ से उन्हें दिया गया (उस पर) हम तो उनमें से किसी (एक) में भी तफरीक़ नहीं करते और हम तो खुदा ही के फरमाबरदार हैं

তোমরা বল, আমরা ঈমান এনেছি আল্লাহর উপর এবং যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে আমাদের প্রতি এবং যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে ইব্রাহীম, ইসমাঈল, ইসহাক, ইয়াকুব এবং তদীয় বংশধরের প্রতি এবং মূসা, ঈসা, অন্যান্য নবীকে পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে যা দান করা হয়েছে, তৎসমুদয়ের উপর। আমরা তাদের মধ্যে পার্থক্য করি না। আমরা তাঁরই আনুগত্যকারী।

  8. (یعنی وہاں سے) نکال دینے کو اور ان کے لئے دائمی عذاب ہے
  9. جس دن لوگ چیخ یقیناً سن لیں گے۔ وہی نکل پڑنے کا دن ہے
  10. اور اس جہان میں بھی لعنت ان کے پیچھے لگا دی گئی اور قیامت کے
