Verse 20 from surah Al-Jaathiyah

﴿هَٰذَا بَصَائِرُ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ﴾
[ الجاثية: 20]

یہ قرآن لوگوں کے لئے دانائی کی باتیں ہیں اور جو یقین رکھتے ہیں ان کے لئے ہدایت اور رحمت ہے

Surah Al-Jaathiyah Full Urdu

(1) یعنی ان دلائل کا مجموعہ ہے جو احکام دین سے متعلق ہیں اور جن سے انسانی ضروریات وحاجات وابستہ ہیں۔
(2) یعنی دنیا میں ہدایت کا راستہ بتلانے والا ہے اور آخرت میں رحمت الٰہی کا موجب ہے۔

یہ بصیرت کی روشنیاں ہیں سب لوگوں کے لیے اور ہدایت اور رحمت اُن لوگوں کے لیے جو یقین لائیں


Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(45:20) These are the lights of discernment for people and guidance and mercy for those endowed with sure faith. *25

This [Qur'an] is enlightenment for mankind and guidance and mercy for a meaning

*25) That is, "This Book and this Shari`ah present such a light for all the people of the world, which distinguishes the truth from falsehood, but only such people receive any guidance from it who believe in its truth; for them only it is a mercy. "

Hatha basairu lilnnasi wahudan warahmatun liqawmin yooqinoona

  2. اور جنہوں نے ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا اور ان سے سرتابی کی وہی دوزخی ہیں
  3. (اے محمدﷺ) عفو اختیار کرو اور نیک کام کرنے کا حکم دو اور جاہلوں سے
  4. اور جب ہم نے جنوں میں سے کئی شخص تمہاری طرف متوجہ کئے کہ قرآن
  5. غرض انہوں نے ان کے ساتھ ایک چال چلنی چاہی اور ہم نے ان ہی
  6. اور زبان اور دو ہونٹ (نہیں دیئے)
  7. تو جن لوگوں کی طرف پیغمبر بھیجے گئے ہم ان سے بھی پرسش کریں گے
  8. تم ان کے لئے مغفرت مانگو یا نہ مانگو ان کے حق میں برابر ہے۔
  9. کیا ان کو معلوم نہیں کہ خدا ہی جس کے لئے چاہتا ہے رزق کو
  10. اور زمین اور پہاڑ دونوں اٹھا لئے جائیں گے۔ پھر ایک بارگی توڑ پھوڑ کر
