Verse 39 from surah Al-Anfal

﴿وَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّىٰ لَا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّينُ كُلُّهُ لِلَّهِ ۚ فَإِنِ انتَهَوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ﴾

اور ان لوگوں سے لڑتے رہو یہاں تک کہ فتنہ (یعنی کفر کا فساد) باقی نہ رہے اور دین سب خدا ہی کا ہوجائے اور اگر باز آجائیں تو خدا ان کے کاموں کو دیکھ رہا ہے

Surah Al-Anfal Full Urdu

(1) فتنہ سے مراد شرک ہے۔ یعنی اس وقت تک جہاد جاری رکھو، جب تک شرک کا خاتمہ نہ ہو جائے۔
(2) یعنی اللہ کی توحید کا پھریرا چار دانگ عالم میں لہرا جائے۔
(3) یعنی تمہارے لئے ان کا ظاہری اسلام ہی کافی ہے، باطن کا معاملہ اللہ کےسپرد کر دو، کیونکہ اس کو ظاہر وباطن ہر چیز کا علم ہے۔

اے ایمان لانے والو، ان کافروں سے جنگ کرو یہاں تک کہ فتنہ باقی نہ رہے اور دین پورا کا پورا اللہ کے لیے ہو جائے پھر اگر وہ فتنہ سے رُک جائیں تو ان کے اعمال کا دیکھنے والا اللہ ہے


Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(8:39) And fight against them until the mischief ends and the way prescribed by Allah - the whole of it -prevail *31 Then, if they give up mischief, surely Allah sees what they do.

And fight them until there is no fitnah and [until] the religion, meaning

*31). This is a reiteration of the purpose, mentioned earlier in al-Baqarah 2: 193, for which Muslims are required to wage war. The purpose is two-fold. Negatively speaking, the purpose is to eradicate 'mischief'. The positive purpose consists of establishing a state of affairs wherein all obedience is rendered to God alone. This alone is the purpose for which the believers may, rather should, fight. Fighting for any other purpose is not lawful. Nor does it behove men of faith to take part in wars for worldly purposes. Waqatiloohum hatta la takoona fitnatun wayakoona alddeenu kulluhu lillahi faini intahaw fainna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona baseerun

And fight them until there is no fitnah and [until] the religion, all of it, is for Allah. And if they cease - then indeed, Allah is Seeing of what they do.

मुसलमानों काफ़िरों से लड़े जाओ यहाँ तक कि कोई फसाद (बाक़ी) न रहे और (बिल्कुल सारी ख़ुदाई में) ख़ुदा की दीन ही दीन हो जाए फिर अगर ये लोग (फ़साद से) न बाज़ आएं तो ख़ुदा उनकी कारवाइयों को ख़ूब देखता है

আর তাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করতে থাক যতক্ষণ না ভ্রান্তি শেষ হয়ে যায়; এবং আল্লাহর সমস্ত হুকুম প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়ে যায়। তারপর যদি তারা বিরত হয়ে যায়, তবে আল্লাহ তাদের কার্যকলাপ লক্ষ্য করেন।

  9. یہاں (سے ثابت ہوا کہ) حکومت سب خدائے برحق ہی کی ہے۔ اسی کا صلہ
  10. تو قوم فرعون میں جو سردار تھے وہ کہنے لگے کہ یہ بڑا علامہ جادوگر
