Verse 6 from surah At-Tahreem

﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ عَلَيْهَا مَلَائِكَةٌ غِلَاظٌ شِدَادٌ لَّا يَعْصُونَ اللَّهَ مَا أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ﴾
[ التحريم: 6]

Ayat With Urdu Translation

مومنو! اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے اہل عیال کو آتش (جہنم) سے بچاؤ جس کا ایندھن آدمی اور پتھر ہیں اور جس پر تند خو اور سخت مزاج فرشتے (مقرر) ہیں جو ارشاد خدا ان کو فرماتا ہے اس کی نافرمانی نہیں کرتے اور جو حکم ان کو ملتا ہے اسے بجا لاتے ہیں

Surah At-Tahreem Full Urdu

(1) اس میں اہل ایمان کو ان کی ایک نہایت اہم ذمے داری کی طرف توجہ دلائی گئی ہے اور وہ ہے اپنے ساتھ اپنے گھر والوں کی بھی اصلاح اور ان کی اسلامی تعلیم وتربیت کا اہتمام تاکہ یہ سب جہنم کا ایندھن بننے سے بچ جائیں اس لیے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہے کہ جب بچہ سات سال کی عمر کو پہنچ جائے تو اسے نماز کی تلقین کرو اور دس سال عمر کے بچوں میں نماز سے تساہل دیکھو تو انہیں سرزنش کرو سنن ابی داؤد۔ فقہا نے کہا ہے اسی طرح روزے ان سے رکھوائے جائیں اور دیگر احکام کے اتباع کی تلقین انہیں کی جائے تاکہ جب وہ شعور کی عمر کو پہنچیں تو اس دین حق کا شعور بھی انہیں حاصل ہو چکا ہو۔ ابن کثیر۔

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، بچاؤ اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے اہل و عیال کو اُس آگ سے جس کا ایندھن انسان اور پتھر ہوں گے جس پر نہایت تند خو اور سخت گیر فرشتے مقرر ہوں گے جو کبھی اللہ کے حکم کی نافرمانی نہیں کرتے اور جو حکم بھی انہیں دیا جاتا ہے اسے بجا لاتے ہیں

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(66:6) Believers, guard yourselves and your kindred against a Fire whose fuel is human beings and stones, *16 a Fire held in the charge of fierce and stern angels who never disobey what He has commanded them, and always do what they are bidden. *17

O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a meaning

*16) Thts verse tells that a person's responsibility is not confined to making effort to save himself from the punishment of God but it is also his responsibility that he should so educate and train to the best of his ability members of his family also to become Allah's favourite servants, who have been entrusted to his care in the natural process of life; and if they might be following a path to Hell, he should try. as far as he can, to correct them. His concern should not only be that his children should lead a happy and prosperous life in the world but; more than that, he should be anxious to see that they do not become fuel of Hell in the Hereafter. According to a tradition reported in Bukhiiri by Hadrat `Abdullah bin 'Umar, the Holy Prophet (upon whom be peace) said: "Each one of you is a herdsman and is accountable with regard to his herd: the ruler is a herdsman and is accountable with regard to his subjects; the man is a herdsman of his family and is accountable with regard to them; and the woman is a herdsman of her husband's house and his children and is accountable with regard to them."
Whose fuel...stone" probably implies coal. Ibn Mas' ud, Ibn 'Abbas, Mujahid, Imam Muhammad al-Baqir and Suddi say that this will be brimstone.
*17) That is, they will enforce on every culprit precisely the same punishment which they will be commanded to enforce on him without making any alteration in it, or showing any pity for him.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo qoo anfusakum waahleekum naran waqooduha alnnasu waalhijaratu AAalayha malaikatun ghilathun shidadun la yaAAsoona Allaha ma amarahum wayafAAaloona ma yumaroona

English - Sahih International

O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.

Quran Hindi translation

और बिन ब्याही कुंवारियाँ हो ऐ ईमानदारों अपने आपको और अपने लड़के बालों को (जहन्नुम की) आग से बचाओ जिसके इंधन आदमी और पत्थर होंगे उन पर वह तन्दख़ू सख्त मिजाज़ फ़रिश्ते (मुक़र्रर) हैं कि ख़ुदा जिस बात का हुक्म देता है उसकी नाफरमानी नहीं करते और जो हुक्म उन्हें मिलता है उसे बजा लाते हैं

মুমিনগণ, তোমরা নিজেদেরকে এবং তোমাদের পরিবার-পরিজনকে সেই অগ্নি থেকে রক্ষা কর, যার ইন্ধন হবে মানুষ ও প্রস্তর, যাতে নিয়োজিত আছে পাষাণ হৃদয়, কঠোরস্বভাব ফেরেশতাগণ। তারা আল্লাহ তা’আলা যা আদেশ করেন, তা অমান্য করে না এবং যা করতে আদেশ করা হয়, তাই করে।
