ہرگز نہیں۔ یہ جو کچھ کہتا ہے ہم اس کو لکھتے جاتے اور اس کے لئے آہستہ آہستہ عذاب بڑھاتے جاتے ہیں

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(19:79) -By no means ! We will take down whatever he boasts of, *48 and will increase his chastisement all the more
No! We will record what he says and extend for him from meaning
*48) That is, the boastful words of his shall also be included in the record of his crimes and he shall have to bear the consequences of his arrogant claim.

- احمق لوگ کہیں گے کہ مسلمان جس قبلے پر (پہلے سے چلے آتے) تھے (اب)
