Verse 90 from surah Al-Kahf

﴿حَتَّىٰ إِذَا بَلَغَ مَطْلِعَ الشَّمْسِ وَجَدَهَا تَطْلُعُ عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ لَّمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُم مِّن دُونِهَا سِتْرًا﴾
[ الكهف: 90]

یہاں تک کہ سورج کے طلوع ہونے کے مقام پر پہنچا تو دیکھا کہ وہ ایسے لوگوں پر طلوع کرتا ہے جن کے لئے ہم نے سورج کے اس طرف کوئی اوٹ نہیں بنائی تھی

Surah Al-Kahf Full Urdu

(1) یعنی ایسی جگہ پہنچ گیا جو مشرقی جانب کی آخری آبادی تھی، اس کو مطلع الشمس کہا گیا ہے۔ جہاں اس نے ایسی قوم دیکھی جو مکانوں میں رہنے کے بجائے میدانوں اور صحراؤں میں بسیرا کیے ہوئے، لباس سے بھی آزاد تھی۔ یہ مطلب ہے کہ ان کے اور سورج کے درمیان کوئی پردہ اور اوٹ نہیں تھی۔ سورج ان کے ننگے جسموں پر طلوع ہوتا۔

یہاں تک کہ طلوعِ آفتاب کی حد تک جا پہنچا وہاں اس نے دیکھا کہ سورج ایک ایسی قوم پر طلوع ہو رہا ہے جس کے لیے دُھوپ سے بچنے کا کوئی سامان ہم نے نہیں کیا ہے

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(18:90) till he reached the limit where the sun rose. There he saw the sun rising on a people, whom We had not given any shelter from sun shine *66 .

Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found meaning

*66) That is, "When he advanced towards the East, conquering one country after the other, he reached a territory where the limits of the civilized world had come to an end and beyond which was the territory of barbaric people, who had no shelter at all of tents or buildings."

Hatta itha balagha matliAAa alshshamsi wajadaha tatluAAu AAala qawmin lam najAAal lahum min dooniha sitran

Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had not made against it any shield.

Quran Hindi translation

यहाँ तक कि जब चलते-चलते आफताब के तूलूउ होने की जगह पहुँचा तो (आफताब) से ऐसा ही दिखाई दिया (गोया) कुछ लोगों के सर पर उस तरह तुलूउ कर रहा है जिन के लिए हमने आफताब के सामने कोई आड़ नहीं बनाया था

অবশেষে তিনি যখন সূর্যের উদয়াচলে পৌছলেন, তখন তিনি তাকে এমন এক সম্প্রদায়ের উপর উদয় হতে দেখলেন, যাদের জন্যে সূর্যতাপ থেকে আত্নরক্ষার কোন আড়াল আমি সৃষ্টি করিনি।
