Verse 13 from surah Al-Qasas

﴿فَرَدَدْنَاهُ إِلَىٰ أُمِّهِ كَيْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ وَلِتَعْلَمَ أَنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴾
[ القصص: 13]

Ayat With Urdu Translation

تو ہم نے (اس طریق سے) اُن کو ان کی ماں کے پاس واپس پہنچا دیا تاکہ اُن کی آنکھیں ٹھنڈی ہوں اور وہ غم نہ کھائیں اور معلوم کریں کہ خدا کا وعدہ سچا ہے لیکن یہ اکثر نہیں جانتے

Surah Al-Qasas Full Urdu

(1) چنانچہ انہوں نے ہمشیرہ موسیٰ (عليه السلام) سے کہا کہ جا اس عورت کو لے آ، چنانچہ وہ دوڑی دوڑی گئی اور اپنی ماں کو، جو موسیٰ (عليه السلام) کی بھی ماں تھی، ساتھ لے آئی۔
(2) جب حضرت موسیٰ (عليه السلام) نے اپنی والدہ کا دودھ پی لیا، تو فرعون نے والدۂ موسیٰ سے محل میں رہنے کی استدعا کی تاکہ بچے کی صحیح پرورش اور نگہداشت ہوسکے۔ لیکن انہوں نے کہا کہ میں اپنے خاوند اور بچوں کو چھوڑ کر یہاں نہیں رہ سکتی۔ بالآخر یہ طے پایا کہ بچے کو وہ اپنے ساتھ ہی اپنے گھر لے جائیں اور وہیں اس کی پرورش کریں اور اس کی اجرت انہیں شاہی خزانے سے دی جائے گی ، سبحان اللہ ! اللہ کی قدرت کے کیا کہنے، دودھ اپنے بچے کو پلائیں اور تنخواہ فرعون سے وصول کریں، رب نے موسیٰ (عليه السلام) کو واپس لوٹانے کا وعدہ کس احسن طریقے سے پورا فرمایا۔ فَسُبْحَانَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ایک مرسل روایت میں ہے ”اس کاریگر کی مثال جو اپنی بنائی ہوئی چیز میں ثواب اور خیر کی نیت بھی رکھتا ہے، موسیٰ (عليه السلام) کی ماں کی طرح ہے جو اپنے ہی بچے کو دودھ پلاتی ہے اور اس کی اجرت بھی وصول کرتی ہے“ (مراسیل أبی داود)
(3) یعنی بہت سے کام ایسے ہوتے ہیں کہ ان کے انجام کی حقیقت سے اکثر لوگ بےعلم ہوتے ہیں لیکن اللہ کو اس کے حسن انجام کا علم ہوتا ہے۔ اسی لیے اللہ نے فرمایا ”ہوسکتا ہے جس چیز کو تم برا سمجھو، اس میں تمہارے لیے خیر ہو اور جس چیز کو تم پسند کرو، اس میں تمہارے لیے شرکا پہلو ہو“ (البقرۃ: 216) دوسرے مقام پر فرمایا ”ہوسکتا ہے تم کسی چیز کو برا سمجھو، اور اللہ اس میں تمہارے لیے خیر کثیر پیدا فرما دے“ (النساء: 19) اس لیے انسان کی بہتری اسی میں ہے کہ وہ اپنی پسند وناپسند سے قطع نظر ہر معاملے میں اللہ اور رسول کے احکام کی پابندی کرلے کہ اسی میں اس کے لیے خیر اور حسن انجام ہے۔

اس طرح ہم موسیٰؑ کو اس کی ماں کے پاس پلٹا لائے تاکہ اس کی آنکھیں ٹھنڈی ہوں اور وہ غمگین نہ ہو اور جان لے کہ اللہ کا وعدہ سچا تھا، مگر اکثر لوگ اس بات کو نہیں جانتے

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(28:13) Thus We restored Moses *16 to his mother so that her eyes might be cooled and she might not grieve and she might know that Allah's promise was true. *17 But most people do not know this.

So We restored him to his mother that she might be content meaning

*16) According to the Bible and the Talmud, the child was named "Moses" in Pharaoh's house. It is not a Hebrew but a Coptic word, which means, "I drew him out of the water", for in Coptic mo meant water and oshe rescued.
*17) Another good thing that resulted from this wise device by Allah was that the Prophet Moses could not become a real prince in Pharaoh's house, but grew up among his own people and became fully aware of his family and community traditions and his ancestral religion. Thus, instead of growing up as a member of Pharaoh's class and people he arose sentimentally and intellectually as a full-fledged Israelite.
In a Hadith the Holy Prophet has said: "He who works to earn his livelihood and keeps in view Allah's goodwill also, has a likeness with the Prophet Moses' mother, who suckled her own son as well as received her wages for the service, too." That is, although such a person works to earn a living for his children, since he works honestly with a view to pleasing God he is just and upright in his dealings with others, seeks lawful provisions for himself and his children in the spirit of God's worship he does deserve a reward from Allah even for earning his own livelihood.

Faradadnahu ila ommihi kay taqarra AAaynuha wala tahzana walitaAAlama anna waAAda Allahi haqqun walakinna aktharahum la yaAAlamoona

English - Sahih International

So We restored him to his mother that she might be content and not grieve and that she would know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of the people do not know.

ग़रज़ (इस तरकीब से) हमने मूसा को उसकी माँ तक फिर पहुँचा दिया ताकि उसकी ऑंख ठन्डी हो जाए और रंज न करे और ताकि समझ ले ख़ुदा का वायदा बिल्कुल ठीक है मगर उनमें के अक्सर नहीं जानते हैं

অতঃপর আমি তাকে জননীর কাছে ফিরিয়ে দিলাম, যাতে তার চক্ষু জুড়ায় এবং তিনি দুঃখ না করেন এবং যাতে তিনি জানেন যে, আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য, কিন্তু অনেক মানুষ তা জানে না।
