Surah al imran Ayat 183 in Urdu - سورہ آل عمران کی آیت نمبر 183
﴿الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَا أَلَّا نُؤْمِنَ لِرَسُولٍ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَنَا بِقُرْبَانٍ تَأْكُلُهُ النَّارُ ۗ قُلْ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِي بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَبِالَّذِي قُلْتُمْ فَلِمَ قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ﴾

جو لوگ کہتے ہی کہ خدا نے ہمیں حکم بھیجا ہے کہ جب تک کوئی پیغمبر ہمارے پاس ایسی نیاز لے کر نہ آئے جس کو آگ آکر کھا جائے تب تک ہم اس پر ایمان نہ لائیں گے (اے پیغمبر ان سے) کہہ دو کہ مجھ سے پہلے کئی پیغمبر تمہارے پاس کھلی ہوئی نشانیاں لے کر آئے اور وہ (معجزہ) بھی لائے جو تم کہتے ہو تو اگر سچے ہو تو تم نے ان کو قتل کیوں کیا؟
Surah Al Imran Full Urdu(1) اس میں یہود کی ایک اور بات کی تکذیب کی جا رہی ہے۔ وہ کہتے تھے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہم سے یہ عہد لیا ہے کہ تم صرف اس رسول کو ماننا جس کی دعا پر آسمان سے آگ آئے اور قربانی وصدقات کو جلا دالے۔ مطلب یہ تھا کہ اے محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) آپ کے ذریعے سے اس معجزے کا چونکہ صدور نہیں ہوا۔ اس لئے بحکم الٰہی آپ (صلى الله عليه وسلم) کی رسالت پر ایمان لانا ہمارے لئے ضروری نہیں ہے حالانکہ پہلے نبیوں میں ایسے نبی بھی آئے کہ جن کی دعا سے آسمان سے آگ آتی اور اہل ایمان کے صدقات اور قربانیوں کو کھا جاتی۔ جو ایک طرف اس بات کی دلیل ہوتی کہ اللہ کی راہ میں پیش کردہ صدقہ یا قربانی بارگاہ الٰہی میں قبول ہوگئی۔ دوسری طرف اس بات کی دلیل ہوتی کہ یہ نبی برحق ہے۔ لیکن ان یہودیوں نے ان نبیوں اور رسولوں کی بھی تکذیب ہی کی تھی۔ اس لئے اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا: ”اگر تم اپنے دعوے میں سچے ہو تو پھر تم نے ایسے پیغمبروں کو کیوں جھٹلایا اور انہیں قتل کیا جو تمہاری طلب کردہ نشانی ہی لے کر آئے تھے؟“۔

جو لوگ کہتے ہیں "اللہ نے ہم کو ہدایت کر دی ہے کہ ہم کسی کو رسول تسلیم نہ کریں جب تک وہ ہمارے سامنے ایسی قربانی نہ کرے جسے (غیب سے آکر) آگ کھا لے "، اُن سے کہو، "تمہارے پاس مجھ سے پہلے بہت سے رسول آ چکے ہیں جو بہت سی روشن نشانیاں لائے تھے اور وہ نشانی بھی لائے تھے جس کا تم ذکر کرتے ہو، پھر اگر (ایمان لانے کے لیے یہ شرط پیش کرنے میں) تم سچے ہو تو اُن رسولوں کو تم نے کیوں قتل کیا؟"

(3:183) To those who say: 'Allah has directed us that we accept none as Messenger until he makes an offering that the fire will consume', say: 'Other Messengers came to you before me with clear signs, and with the sign you have mentioned. So why did you slay them, if what you say is true? *129

*129). The Bible mentions at several places that the token of Divine acceptance of a person's sacrificial offering was the appearance of a mysterious fire which consumed the offering. (See Judges 6: 20-1 and 13: 19-20; 2 Chronicles 7: 1-2.) The Bible does not state, however, that the consuming fire was an indispensable token of prophethood and that anyone not endowed with that miracle could not be a Prophet. The Jews in discussing the claim of Muhammad (peace be on him) to be a Messenger of God brought up the question of this miraculous sign, and used it as a pretext for denying that claim. There was even clearer evidence of the Jews' hostility to Truth: they had not hesitated to murder a number of Prophets who had been endowed with the miracle of consuming fire. The Bible mentions, for example, the Prophet Elijah who had challenged the worshippers of Ba'l to sacrifice a bull, promising that he too would sacrifice a bull. He stated that the offering of the one who was truthful would be consumed by the miraculous fire. The confrontation took place before a large crowd and it was Elijah's sacrifice which was consumed by the fire. This so antagonized the Ba'1-worshipping Queen that the henpecked King decided to put the Prophet Elijah to death. Elijah was forced to leave his homeland and take refuge in the mountains of Sinai. (See 1 Kings 18 and 19.) The Jews are told in effect: 'How dare you ask for the miracle of the consuming fire when in the past you have not even refrained from murdering Prophets who performed that miracle?'

[They are] those who said, "Indeed, Allah has taken our promise not to believe any messenger until he brings us an offering which fire [from heaven] will consume." Say, "There have already come to you messengers before me with clear proofs and [even] that of which you speak. So why did you kill them, if you should be truthful?"

(यह वही लोग हैं) जो कहते हैं कि ख़ुदा ने तो हमसे वायदा किया है कि जब तक कोई रसूल हमें ये (मौजिज़ा) न दिखा दे कि वह कुरबानी करे और उसको (आसमानी) आग आकर चट कर जाए उस वक्त तक हम ईमान न लाएंगें (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि (भला) ये तो बताओ बहुतेरे पैग़म्बर मुझसे क़ब्ल तुम्हारे पास वाजे व रौशन मौजिज़ात और जिस चीज़ की तुमने (उस वक्त) फ़रमाइश की है (वह भी) लेकर आए फिर तुम अगर (अपने दावे में) सच्चे तो तुमने क्यों क़त्ल किया

সে সমস্ত লোক, যারা বলে যে, আল্লাহ আমাদিগকে এমন কোন রসূলের ওপর বিশ্বাস না করতে বলে রেখেছেন যতক্ষণ না তারা আমাদের নিকট এমন কোরবানী নিয়ে আসবেন যাকে আগুন গ্রাস করে নেবে। তুমি তাদের বলে দাও, তোমাদের মাঝে আমার পূর্বে বহু রসূল নিদর্শনসমূহ এবং তোমরা যা আব্দার করেছ তা নিয়ে এসেছিলেন, তখন তোমরা কেন তাদেরকে হত্যা করলে যদি তোমরা সত্য হয়ে থাক।
