Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(27:2) These are the verses of the Qur'an and the lucid Book, *1 a guidance and good news *2 for those believers

As guidance and good tidings for the believers meaning

*1) Kitab-i-mubin has three meanings: (1) This book presents its teachings and instructions and injunctions plainly; (2) it distinguishes between the Truth and falsehood clearly; and (3) its being a Divine Book is obvious: whoever studies it with open eyes will realize that it has not been composed and forged by the Holy Prophet himself.
*2) That is, the verses themselves are a "guidance" and "good news", because they give guidance and convey good news in a most excellent manner.

  5. (اے پیغمبرﷺ!) تم دیکھو گے کہ مومنوں کے ساتھ سب سے زیادہ دشمنی کرنے والے
  6. اور کہتے ہیں کہ اس پر اس کے پروردگار کی طرف سے کوئی نشانی کیوں
  7. اور (وہ وقت بھی یاد کرنے کے لائق ہے) جب ابراہیم نے اپنے باپ آزر
  8. جس کو چاہتا ہے اپنی رحمت میں داخل کرلیتا ہے اور ظالموں کے لئے اس
  9. اور برادران ملت! تم اپنی جگہ کام کیے جاؤ میں (اپنی جگہ) کام کیے جاتا
  10. تو ہم نے غار میں کئی سال تک ان کے کانوں پر (نیند کا) پردہ
