﴿وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِيمَا إِن مَّكَّنَّاكُمْ فِيهِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ سَمْعًا وَأَبْصَارًا وَأَفْئِدَةً فَمَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَلَا أَبْصَارُهُمْ وَلَا أَفْئِدَتُهُم مِّن شَيْءٍ إِذْ كَانُوا يَجْحَدُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ﴾
[ الأحقاف: 26]

اور ہم نے ان کو ایسے مقدور دیئے تھے جو تم لوگوں کو نہیں دیئے اور انہیں کان اور آنکھیں اور دل دیئے تھے۔ تو جب کہ وہ خدا کی آیتوں سے انکار کرتے تھے تو نہ تو ان کے کان ہی ان کے کچھ کام آسکے اور نہ آنکھیں اور نہ دل۔ اور جس چیز سے استہزاء کیا کرتے تھے اس نے ان کو آ گھیرا

Surah Al-Ahqaaf Full Urdu

(1) یہ اہل مکہ کو خطاب کرکے کہا جا رہا ہے کہ تم کیا چیز ہو؟ تم سے پہلی قومیں، جنہیں ہم نے ہلاک کیا، قوت وشوکت میں تم سے کہیں زیادہ تھیں،لیکن جب انہوں نے اللہ کی دی ہوئی صلاحیتوں (آنکھ، کان اور دل) کو حق کے سننے، دیکھنے اور اسے سمجھنے کے لئے استعمال نہیں کیا، تو بالآخر ہم نے انہیں تباہ کر دیا اور یہ چیزیں ان کے کچھ کام نہ آسکیں۔
(2) یعنی جس عذاب کو وہ انہونا سمجھ کر بطور استہزا کہا کرتے تھے کہ لے آ اپنا عذاب ! جس سے تو ہمیں ڈراتا رہتا ہے، وہ عذاب آیا اور اس نے انہیں گھیرا کہ پھر اس سے نکل نہ سکے۔

ولقد مكناهم فيما إن مكناكم فيه وجعلنا لهم سمعا وأبصارا وأفئدة فما أغنى عنهم سمعهم ولا أبصارهم ولا أفئدتهم من شيء إذ كانوا يجحدون بآيات الله وحاق بهم ما كانوا به يستهزئون

Surah Ahqaf Ayat 26 meaning in urdu

اُن کو ہم نے وہ کچھ دیا تھا جو تم لوگوں کو نہیں دیا ہے اُن کو ہم نے کان، آنکھیں اور دل، سب کچھ دے رکھے تھے، مگر نہ وہ کان اُن کے کسی کام آئے، نہ آنکھیں، نہ دل، کیونکہ وہ اللہ کی آیات کا انکار کرتے تھے، اور اُسی چیز کے پھیر میں وہ آ گئے جس کا وہ مذاق اڑاتے تھے

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(46:26) We had established them firmly in a manner We have not established you. *30 We had given them ears and eyes and hearts. But nothing availed them ' neither their ears, nor their eyes, nor their hearts, for they denied the Signs of Allah. *31 Then what they had mocked at encompassed them.

And We had certainly established them in such as We have not meaning

*30) That is, "You are no match for them as far as wealth, power, authority and other things are concerned: your sphere of authority is restricted to the bounds of the city of Makkah, but they had dominated a large part of the earth. "
*31) An important truth has been stated in this brief sentence. It is only the Revelations of Allah which give the right knowledge and understanding of the truth and reality to man. If man has this understanding and knowledge he sees the right thing with his eyes, hears the right thing with his ears, thinks the right thing with his mind and intellect and takes the right decisions. But when he refuses to believe in the Revelations of Allah, he fails to see the truth in spite of the eyes, becomes deaf to every word of admonition in spite of the ears, and misuses the blessings of the mind and intellect that God has granted him, and goes on drawing wrong conclusions one after the other; so much so that he starts 'sing aII his capabilities for his own destruction.

phonetic Transliteration

Walaqad makkannahum feema in makkannakum feehi wajaAAalna lahum samAAan waabsaran waafidatan fama aghna AAanhum samAAuhum wala absaruhum wala afidatuhum min shayin ith kanoo yajhadoona biayati Allahi wahaqa bihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona

English - Sahih International

And We had certainly established them in such as We have not established you, and We made for them hearing and vision and hearts. But their hearing and vision and hearts availed them not from anything [of the punishment] when they were [continually] rejecting the signs of Allah; and they were enveloped by what they used to ridicule.

Quran Hindi translation

और हमने उनको ऐसे कामों में मक़दूर दिये थे जिनमें तुम्हें (कुछ भी) मक़दूर नहीं दिया और उन्हें कान और ऑंख और दिल (सब कुछ दिए थे) तो चूँकि वह लोग ख़ुदा की आयतों से इन्कार करने लगे तो न उनके कान ही कुछ काम आए और न उनकी ऑंखें और न उनके दिल और जिस (अज़ाब) की ये लोग हँसी उड़ाया करते थे उसने उनको हर तरफ से घेर लिया

Quran Bangla tarjuma

আমি তাদেরকে এমন বিষয়ে ক্ষমতা দিয়েছিলাম, যে বিষয়ে তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমতা দেইনি। আমি তাদের দিয়েছিলাম, কর্ণ, চক্ষু ও হৃদয়, কিন্তু তাদের কর্ণ, চক্ষু ও হৃদয় তাদের কোন কাজে আসল না, যখন তারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহকে অস্বীকার করল এবং তাদেরকে সেই শাস্তি গ্রাস করে নিল, যা নিয়ে তারা ঠাট্টা বিদ্রুপ করত।
