﴿قَالَ إِنَّ فِيهَا لُوطًا ۚ قَالُوا نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن فِيهَا ۖ لَنُنَجِّيَنَّهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ﴾

ابراہیم نے کہا کہ اس میں تو لوط بھی ہیں۔ وہ کہنے لگے کہ جو لوگ یہاں (رہتے) ہیں ہمیں سب معلوم ہیں۔ ہم اُن کو اور اُن کے گھر والوں کو بچالیں گے بجز اُن کی بیوی کے وہ پیچھے رہنے والوں میں ہوگی

Surah Al-Ankabut Full Urdu

(1) یعنی ہمیں علم ہے کہ اخیار اور مومن کون ہیں اور اشرار کون؟۔
(2) یعنی ان پیچھے رہ جانے والوں میں سے، جن کو عذاب کے ذریعے سے ہلاک کیا جانا ہے وہ چونکہ مومنہ نہیں تھی بلکہ اپنی قوم کی طرف دار تھی، اس لیے اسے بھی ہلاک کر دیا گیا۔

ابراہیمؑ نے کہا "وہاں تو لوطؑ موجود ہے" انہوں نے کہا "ہم خوب جانتے ہیں کہ وہاں کون کون ہے ہم اُسے، اور اس کی بیوی کے سوا اس کے باقی گھر والوں کو بچا لیں گے" اس کی بیوی پیچھے رہ جانے والوں میں سے تھی

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(29:32) Abraham said: 'But Lot is there.' *55 They replied: 'We are well aware of those who are there. We shall save him and all his household except his wife.' His wife is among those who will stay behind. *56

[Abraham] said, "Indeed, within it is Lot." They said, "We are more meaning

*55) According to the initial part of this story as related in Surah Hud, the Prophet Abraham at first was perturbed to see the angels in human shape, for he knew that the coming of the angels in human shape was always a prelude to some dangerous mission. Then, when they gave him the good news, his fear wasallayed and he came to know that they had been sent to the people of Lot. Then he began making entreaties of mercy for those people (Hud: 7475), but his entreaties were not granted, and it was said: "Do not plead for them any more: your Lord's decree has been issued, and the punishment now cannot be averted." (v. 76) After this answer, when the Prophet Abraham lost all hope of any increase in the respite of Lot's people, he became anxious about the Prophet Lot himself, and said, what has been related here: "There is Lot in it." That is, "If the torment comes down when Lot is there, how will he and his household retrain safe from it?"
*56) According to Surah Tahrim: 10, this woman was not faithful to the Prophet Lot. Tha is why it was decreed that she too, would be afflicted with the torment in spite of being a Prophet's wife. Most probably when the Prophet Lot had come to Jordan after the migration and settled there, he might have married among the ,people living there. But the woman did not believe even after spending a lifetime with him, and her sympathies remained with her own people. As Allah has no consideration for relationships and brotherhoods and every person's case is decided on the basis of his own faith and morality, even being a Prophet's wife did not profit her in any way and she met her doom along with her own people with whom she had remained attached in faith and morality.

Qala inna feeha lootan qaloo nahnu aAAlamu biman feeha lanunajjiyannahu waahlahu illa imraatahu kanat mina alghabireena

English - Sahih International

[Abraham] said, "Indeed, within it is Lot." They said, "We are more knowing of who is within it. We will surely save him and his family, except his wife. She is to be of those who remain behind."

Quran Hindi translation

(ये सुन कर) इबराहीम ने कहा कि इस बस्ती में तो लूत भी है वह फरिश्ते बोले जो लोग इस बस्ती में हैं हम लोग उनसे खूब वाक़िफ़ हैं हम तो उनको और उनके लड़के बालों को यक़ीनी बचा लेंगे मगर उनकी बीबी को वह (अलबता) पीछे रह जाने वालों में होगीं

Quran Bangla tarjuma

সে বলল, এই জনপদে তো লূতও রয়েছে। তারা বলল, সেখানে কে আছে, তা আমরা ভাল জানি। আমরা অবশ্যই তাকে ও তাঁর পরিবারবর্গকে রক্ষা করব তাঁর স্ত্রী ব্যতীত; সে ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত থাকবে।
