﴿هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ﴾
[ المطففين: 36]

تو کافروں کو ان کے عملوں کا (پورا پورا) بدلہ مل گیا

(1) ثُوِّبَ بمعنی أُثِيبَ، بدلہ دے دیئے گئے، یعنی کیا کافروں کو، جو کچھ وہ کرتے تھے، اس کا بدلہ دے دیا گیا ہے۔

مل گیا نا کافروں کو اُن حرکتوں کا ثواب جو وہ کیا کرتے تھے


Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(83:36) Have the unbelievers been duly rewarded for their deeds? *15

Have the disbelievers [not] been rewarded [this Day] for what they used meaning

*15) There is a subtle satire in this sentence. In the world, the disbelievers used to persecute the believers, thinking it was an act of virtue. In the Hereafter, the believers will be enjoying life in Paradise, and watching the disbelievers being punished in Hell, will say to themselves what a reward they have earned for their acts of virtue!

  6. پوچھو کہ بھلا تمہارے شریکوں میں کون ایسا ہے کہ حق کا رستہ دکھائے۔ کہہ
  7. اور اسی طرح ہم ظالموں کو ان کے اعمال کے سبب جو وہ کرتے تھے
  8. جو کچھ آسمانوں میں اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے سب اسی کا ہے۔ اور
  9. ہم کو اپنے پروردگار سے اس دن کا ڈر لگتا ہے (جو چہروں کو) کریہہ
  10. اسی کے پاس تم سب کو لوٹ کر جانا ہے۔ خدا کا وعدہ سچا ہے۔
