﴿وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُم بَعْضَ الَّذِي حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ وَجِئْتُكُم بِآيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ﴾

اور مجھ سے پہلے جو تورات (نازل ہوئی) تھی اس کی تصدیق بھی کرتا ہوں اور (میں) اس لیے بھی (آیا ہوں) کہ بعض چیزیں جو تم پر حرام تھیں ان کو تمہارے لیے حلال کر دوں اور میں تو تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے نشانی لے کر آیا ہوں تو خدا سے ڈرو اور میرا کہا مانو

Surah Al Imran Full Urdu

(1) اس سے مراد یا تو وہ بعض چیزیں ہیں جو بطور سزا اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان پر حرام کر دی تھیں یا پھر وہ چیزیں ہیں جو ان کے علما نےاجہتاد کے ذریعے سے حرام کی تھیں اور اجتہاد میں ان سے غلطی کا ارتکاب ہوا، حضرت عیسیٰ (عليه السلام) نے اس غلطی کا ازالہ کرکے انہیں حلال قرار دیا۔ (ابن کثیر)

اور میں اُس تعلیم و ہدایت کی تصدیق کرنے والا بن کر آیا ہوں جو تورات میں سے اِس وقت میرے زمانہ میں موجود ہے اوراس لیے آیا ہوں کہ تمہارے لیے بعض اُن چیزوں کو حلال کر دوں جو تم پر حرام کر دی گئی ہیں دیکھو، میں تمہارے رب کی طرف سے تمہارے پاس نشانی لے کر آیا ہوں، لہٰذا اللہ سے ڈرو اور میر ی اطاعت کرو

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(3:50) And I have come to confirm the truth of whatever there still remains of the Torah, *46 and to make lawful to you some of the things which had been forbidden to you. *47 have come to you with a sign from your Lord; so have fear of Allah and obey me.

And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah meaning

The fact that Jesus preached the same religion as that expounded earlier by Moses and the other Prophets is also borne out by the statements of the existing Gospels: According to Matthew, in his Sermon on the Mount the Messiah categorically declared: 'Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfil them' (Matthew 5: 17). And when a Jewish lawyer enquired: 'Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?', Jesus replied: 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. And a second is like it, you shall love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments depends the law and the prophets' (ibid., 22: 37-40). He also instructed his disciples: The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat, so practise and observe whatever they tell you, but not what they do; for they preach, but do not practise' (ibid., 23: 2-3).
*47). What Jesus wanted to impress upon them was that he would abolish the prohibitive innovations which had infiltrated the original Divine Law (Shari'ah}. These were the results of the superstitions of their ignorant commoners, the legal hair-splitting of their lawyers, the extremism of their world-renouncing pietists, and the ascendancy and predominance of non-Muslim peoples over them. In determining what is lawful and unlawful, Jesus would be guided by the injunctions of God and not by the inventions of human beings.

Wamusaddiqan lima bayna yadayya mina alttawrati waliohilla lakum baAAda allathee hurrima AAalaykum wajitukum biayatin min rabbikum faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni

English - Sahih International

And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allah and obey me.

Quran Hindi translation

और तौरेत जो मेरे सामने मौजूद है मैं उसकी तसदीक़ करता हूं और (मेरे आने की) एक ग़रज़ यह (भी) है कि जो चीजे तुम पर हराम है उनमें से बाज़ को (हुक्मे ख़ुदा से) हलाल कर दूं और मैं तुम्हारे परवरदिगार की तरफ़ से (अपनी नबूवत की) निशानी लेकर तुम्हारे पास आया हूं

আর এটি পূর্ববর্তী কিতাব সমুহকে সত্যায়ন করে, যেমন তওরাত। আর তা এজন্য যাতে তোমাদের জন্য হালাল করে দেই কোন কোন বস্তু যা তোমাদের জন্য হারাম ছিল। আর আমি তোমাদের নিকট এসেছি তোমাদের পালনকর্তার নিদর্শনসহ। কাজেই আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং আমার অনুসরণ কর।
