Verse 6 from surah Al-Mumtahanah

﴿لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِيهِمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ﴾
[ الممتحنة: 6]

Ayat With Urdu Translation

تم (مسلمانوں) کو یعنی جو کوئی خدا (کے سامنے جانے) اور روز آخرت (کے آنے) کی امید رکھتا ہو اسے ان لوگوں کی نیک چال چلنی (ضرور) ہے۔ اور روگردانی کرے تو خدا بھی بےپرواہ اور سزاوار حمد (وثنا) ہے

Surah Al-Mumtahanah Full Urdu

(1) یعنی ابراہیم (عليه السلام) کے اور ان کے ساتھی اہل ایمان میں۔ یہ تکرار تاکید کے لیے ہے۔
(2) کیونکہ ایسے ہی لوگ اللہ سے اور عذاب آخرت سے ڈرتے ہیں، یہی لوگ حالات وواقعات سے عبرت پکڑتے اور نصیحت حاصل کرتے ہیں۔
(3) یعنی حضرت ابراہیم (عليه السلام) کے اسوے کو اپنانے سے گریز کرے۔

Surah Mumtahana Ayat 6 meaning in urdu

اِنہی لوگوں کے طرز عمل میں تمہارے لیے اور ہر اُس شخص کے لیے اچھا نمونہ ہے جو اللہ اور روز آخر کا امیدوار ہو اِس سے کوئی منحرف ہو تو اللہ بے نیاز اور اپنی ذات میں آپ محمود ہے


Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(60:6) Indeed there is a good example for you in them; a good example for anyone who looks forward to Allah and the Last Day. *9 As for him who turns away, Allah is All-Sufficient, Immensely Praiseworthy. *10

There has certainly been for you in them an excellent pattern for meaning

*9) "Who is hopeful Or Allah and the Last Day": who expects that one Day he will have to present himself before AIIah and is hopeful that Allah will treat him benevolently and help him attain to success in the Hereafter.
*10) That is, "Allah has be need of such believers, who profess to believe in His Religion as well as maintain friendly relations with His enemies. He is Self Sufficient: His Godhead does not require that they should acknowledge Him as God. He is Self-Praiseworthy, i.e.'His being praiseworthy is not dependent on the people's praising and glorifying Him. , If they affirm the faith, they faith, they do so not for any good of AIlah, but for their own good: and they cannot gain anything from their affirmation of the faith until they break off all connections of love and friendship with the enemies of Allah as the Prophet Abraham and his companions did. "

Laqad kana lakum feehim oswatun hasanatun liman kana yarjoo Allaha waalyawma alakhira waman yatawalla fainna Allaha huwa alghanniyyu alhameedu

There has certainly been for you in them an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day. And whoever turns away - then indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.

(मुसलमानों) उन लोगों के (अफ़आल) का तुम्हारे वास्ते जो ख़ुदा और रोज़े आख़ेरत की उम्मीद रखता हो अच्छा नमूना है और जो (इससे) मुँह मोड़े तो ख़ुदा भी यक़ीनन बेपरवा (और) सज़ावारे हम्द है

তোমরা যারা আল্লাহ ও পরকাল প্রত্যাশা কর, তোমাদের জন্য তাদের মধ্যে উত্তম আদর্শ রয়েছে। আর যে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তার জানা উচিত যে, আল্লাহ বেপরওয়া, প্রশংসার মালিক।

  9. اور دوزخ اس دن حاضر کی جائے گی تو انسان اس دن متنبہ ہو گا
  10. اور کتاب میں اسمٰعیل کا بھی ذکر کرو وہ وعدے کے سچے اور ہمارے بھیجے
