﴿مَّن يُطِعِ الرَّسُولَ فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللَّهَ ۖ وَمَن تَوَلَّىٰ فَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا﴾

جو شخص رسول کی فرمانبرداری کرے گا تو بےشک اس نے خدا کی فرمانبرداری کی اور جو نافرمانی کرے گا تو اے پیغمبر تمہیں ہم نے ان کا نگہبان بنا کر نہیں بھیجا

جس نے رسول کی اطاعت کی اس نے دراصل خدا کی اطاعت کی اور جو منہ موڑ گیا، تو بہرحال ہم نے تمہیں ان لوگوں پر پاسبان بنا کر تو نہیں بھیجا ہے

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(4:80) He who obeys the Messenger thereby obeys Allah; as for he who turns away, We have not sent you as a keeper over them! *110

He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah; but those who turn meaning

*110). Such people are responsible for their own conduct. It is they rather than the Prophet (peace be on him) who will be censured. The task entrusted to the Prophet (peace be on him) was merely to communicate to them the ordinances and directives of God and he acquitted himself of it very well. It was not his duty to compel them to follow the right way, so that if they failed to follow the teachings communicated to them by the Prophet (peace be on him) the responsibility was entirely theirs. The Prophet (peace be on him) would not be questioned as to why they disobeyed.

Man yutiAAi alrrasoola faqad ataAAa Allaha waman tawalla fama arsalnaka AAalayhim hafeethan

English - Sahih International

He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah; but those who turn away - We have not sent you over them as a guardian.

जिसने रसूल की इताअत की तो उसने ख़ुदा की इताअत की और जिसने रूगरदानी की तो तुम कुछ ख्याल न करो (क्योंकि) हमने तुम को पासबान (मुक़र्रर) करके तो भेजा नहीं है

Quran Bangla tarjuma

যে লোক রসূলের হুকুম মান্য করবে সে আল্লাহরই হুকুম মান্য করল। আর যে লোক বিমুখতা অবলম্বন করল, আমি আপনাকে (হে মুহাম্মদ), তাদের জন্য রক্ষণাবেক্ষণকারী নিযুক্ত করে পাঠাইনি।
