﴿يَعْرِفُونَ نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنكِرُونَهَا وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ﴾
[ النحل: 83]

Ayat With Urdu Translation

یہ خدا کی نعمتوں سے واقف ہیں۔ مگر (واقف ہو کر) اُن سے انکار کرتے ہیں اور یہ اکثر ناشکرے ہیں

Surah An-Nahl Full Urdu

(1) یعنی اس بات کو جانتے اور سمجھتے ہیں کہ یہ ساری نعمتیں پیدا کرنے والا اور ان کا استعمال میں لانے کی صلاحیتیں عطا کرنے والا صرف اللہ تعالٰی ہے، پھر بھی اللہ کا انکار کرتے ہیں اور اکثر ناشکری کرتے ہیں۔ یعنی اللہ کو چھوڑ کر دوسروں کی عبادت کرتے ہیں۔

یہ اللہ کے احسان کو پہچانتے ہیں، پھر اس کا انکار کرتے ہیں اور اِن میں بیش تر لوگ ایسے ہیں جو حق ماننے کے لیے تیار نہیں ہیں


Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(16:83) They recognise the blessing of Allah, yet they deny it, *79 for the majority of them are not inclined to accept the Truth.

They recognize the favor of Allah; then they deny it. And most meaning

*79) Here the denial of the blessings of Allah refers to practical denial by the disbelievers of Makkah. For they did not deny that all these blessings were from AIIah but along with this they believed that their saints and gods also had contributed towards them. This is why they associated their intercessors in their gratitude to Allah for these blessings. Nay, they were even more grateful to them than to Allah. Allah regards this association as denial of His blessings, ingratitude and forgetfulness of His favours.

  6. تو ہم کو ان چیزوں کی قسم جو تم کو نظر آتی ہیں
  7. تب ہر شخص معلوم کرلے گا کہ اس نے آگے کیا بھیجا تھا اور پیچھے
  8. سو انہوں نے اپنے کاموں کی سزا کا مزہ چکھ لیا اور ان کا انجام
  9. (اے محمدﷺ ان سے) کہہ دو کہ مجھے اس بات کی ممانعت کی گئی ہے
  10. مگر (اس کا قائم رہنا) تمہارے پروردگار کی رحمت ہے۔ کچھ شک نہیں کہ تم
