﴿وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِي ٱتَّخَذُواْ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ مَهۡجُورٗا ﴾ [Al-Furqān: 30]

(30) And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned."

﴿ وَقِيلِهِۦ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ قَوۡمٞ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُونَ * فَٱصۡفَحۡ عَنۡهُمۡ وَقُلۡ سَلَٰمٞۚ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ ﴾ [Az-Zukhruf: 88-89]

(88) And [Allah acknowledges] his saying, "O my Lord, indeed these are a people who do not believe."

(89) So turn aside from them and say, "Peace." But they are going to know.
