Abridged Explanation of the Quran

The angels and Gabriel ( peace be upon him ) descend during it with the permission of their Lord ( may He be glorified ), bringing every matter Allah has decreed to happen that year, whether it be sustenance, deaths, births or anything else He has decreed.

Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees,

Tanazzalu almalaikatu waalrroohu feeha biithni rabbihim min kulli amrin

Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission, on every errand:
