And they say, "We will not believe you until you break open (17:90)

﴿وَقَالُوا لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ تَفْجُرَ لَنَا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ يَنبُوعًا﴾
[ الإسراء: 90]

17:90 And they say, "We will not believe you until you break open for us from the ground a spring.

The idolaters said: I will never believe you until you extract for us from the ground of Makkah a spring that does not stop flowing.

And they say: "We shall not believe in you (O Muhammad SAW), until you cause a spring to gush forth from the earth for us;

phonetic Transliteration

Waqaloo lan numina laka hatta tafjura lana mina alardi yanbooAAan

They say: "We shall not believe in thee, until thou cause a spring to gush forth for us from the earth,

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

And they say: "We shall not believe in you, until you cause a spring to gush forth from the earth for us;"
