﴿قَالُوا يَا مُوسَىٰ إِمَّا أَن تُلْقِيَ وَإِمَّا أَن نَّكُونَ نَحْنُ الْمُلْقِينَ﴾
[ الأعراف: 115]

他们说：穆萨啊！你先抛（你的手杖）呢，还是我们先抛（我们的）呢？

Tāmen shuō:“Mù sà a! Nǐ xiān pāo (nǐ de shǒuzhàng) ne, háishì wǒmen xiān pāo (wǒmen de) ne?”

他们说：“穆萨啊！是你先扔[表演]还是我们先扔[表演]？”

魔术师自以为一定会战胜穆萨,故骄傲自大地对他说:“穆萨啊!你来选择,是你首先抛下手杖还是我们先开始呢?”

They said, "O Moses, either you throw [your staff], or we will be the ones to throw [first]."
