أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ(1)

 Acaso, não confortamos o teu peito,

وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ(2)

 E aliviamos o teu fardo,

الَّذِي أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ(3)

 Que feria as tuas costas,

وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ(4)

 E enaltecemos a tua reputação?

فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا(5)

 Em verdade, com a adversidade está a facilidade!

إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا(6)

 Certamente, com a adversidade está a facilidade!

فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ(7)

 Assim, pois, quando estiveres livre (dos teus afazeres), continua a prédica,

وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارْغَب(8)

 E volta para o teu Senhor (toda) a atenção.
