﴿هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ﴾
[ الغاشية: 1]

بھلا تم کو ڈھانپ لینے والی (یعنی قیامت کا) حال معلوم ہوا ہے

(1) هَلْ بمعنی قَدْ ہے۔ غَاشِيَةٌ سے مراد قیامت ہے۔ اس لئے کہ اس کی ہولناکیاں تمام مخلوق کو ڈھانک لیں گی۔

(88:1) Has the news of the overwhelming event reached you? *1

Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]? meaning

*1) "The over-shadowing calamity": the Resurrection which will overshadow the whole world. One should know that here the Hereafter as a whole is being depicted, which comprehends aII the stages from the upsetting of the present system to the resurrection of all human beings and the dispensation of rewards and punishments from the Divine Court.

  6. انہوں نے کہا، تو پاک ہے۔ جتنا علم تو نے ہمیں بخشا ہے، اس کے
  7. خدا نے فرمایا میں تم پر ضرور خوان نازل فرماؤں گا لیکن جو اس کے
  8. میں نہ تم سے یہ کہتا ہوں کہ میرے پاس خدا کے خزانے ہیں اور
  9. مومنو! اگر تم کافروں کا کہا مان لو گے تو وہ تم کو الٹے پاؤں
  10. یہ اس لئے کہ خدا ہی برحق ہے اور جس چیز کو (کافر) خدا کے
