﴿وَتِلْكَ نِعْمَةٌ تَمُنُّهَا عَلَيَّ أَنْ عَبَّدتَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ﴾
[ الشعراء: 22]
26:22 And is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?"
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishYour bringing me up without enslaving me after you enslaved the Israelites is a favour that you are reminding me of?!

"And this is the past favour with which you reproach me, that you have enslaved the Children of Israel."

"And this is the favour with which thou dost reproach me,- that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel!"

"And this is the past favor with which you reproach me, -- that you have enslaved the Children of Israel."

*18) That is, "If you had not been unjust and cruel to the Israelites. I should not have been brought to your house for upbringing. It was only on account of your barbarism that my mother put me in a basket and cast it into the river. Had it not been so, I should have been happily brought up in my own house. Therefore, it dces not behove you to remind me of your favour of bri nging me up in your house."

رہا تیرا احسان جو تو نے مجھ پر جتایا ہے تو اس کی حقیقت یہ ہے کہ تو نے بنی اسرائیل کو غلام بنا لیا تھا"
