﴿هَٰذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَاكُمْ وَالْأَوَّلِينَ﴾
[ المرسلات: 38]
77:38 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThis is the day of separation between the creations; I have gathered you and the previous nations on one plain.

That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together!

Hatha yawmu alfasli jamaAAnakum waalawwaleena

That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)!
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
