surah Qalam aya 28 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿قَالَ أَوْسَطُهُمْ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ لَوْلَا تُسَبِّحُونَ﴾
[ القلم: 28]
68:28 The most moderate of them said, "Did I not say to you, 'Why do you not exalt [Allah]?' "
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThe most virtuous among them said, “Did I not tell you when you made up your mind to prevent the poor from your crops: “Why do you not glorify Allah and repent to Him?””
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
The best among them said: "Did I not tell you: why do you not say: Insha' Allah (If Allah will)."
phonetic Transliteration
Qala awsatuhum alam aqul lakum lawla tusabbihoona
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
Said one of them, more just (than the rest): "Did I not say to you, 'Why not glorify (Allah)?'"
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
The Awsat among them said; "Did I not tell you, `Why do you not Tusabbihun."'

The most moderate of them said, "Did I not say to you, meaning
*17) This means that when they were saying on oath: "We shall surely pluck the fruit of our garden tomorrow," this person had warned them at that time, saying: "Have you forgotten God? Why don't you say: If Allah so wills?" But they did not listen to him. Then, while they were making up their mind not to give away anything to the needy. he again advised them to remember Allah and to desist from their evil intention, but they persisted in what they had resolved.

اُن میں جو سب سے بہتر آدمی تھا اُس نے کہا "میں نے تم سے کہا نہ تھا کہ تم تسبیح کیوں نہیں کرتے؟"
