surah Baqarah aya 33 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿قَالَ يَا آدَمُ أَنبِئْهُم بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ ۖ فَلَمَّا أَنبَأَهُم بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَأَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ﴾
[ البقرة: 33]
2:33 He said, "O Adam, inform them of their names." And when he had informed them of their names, He said, "Did I not tell you that I know the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth? And I know what you reveal and what you have concealed."
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThen Allah told Adam to tell them the names.
When Adam told the angels the names of things, as he had been taught, Allah reminded the angels that He had told them that He knew everything hidden in the heavens and the earth, and what they made public and what they said inside of themselves.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
He said: "O Adam! Inform them of their names," and when he had informed them of their names, He said: "Did I not tell you that I know the Ghaib (unseen) in the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you have been concealing?"

Qala ya adamu anbihum biasmaihim falamma anbaahum biasmaihim qala alam aqul lakum innee aAAlamu ghayba alssamawati waalardi waaAAlamu ma tubdoona wama kuntum taktumoona
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
He said: "O Adam! Tell them their names." When he had told them, Allah said: "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of heaven and earth, and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal?"
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
He said: "O Adam! Inform them of their names," and when he had informed them of their names, He said: "Did I not tell you that I know the Ghayb (unseen) in the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you have been concealing"

(2:33) Then Allah said to Adam, "Tell them the names of these things." When Adam told them the names of all those things, *44 Allah declared, "Did I not tell you that I know those truths about the Earth and the Heavens which are hidden from you? I know what you disclose and what you hide."

*44). This demonstration of Adam's capacity was an answer to the first of the doubts the angels had expressed. In this manner, they were made to realize that God had not only bestowed some authority upon man, but had also endowed him with knowledge. Fear of mischief and disorder through man's appointment as vicegerent is only one aspect of the matter. The other aspect is constructive and offsets man's potentiality for spreading mischief. For the wise will not sacrifice a major good for fear of a minor harm.

پھر اللہ نے آدمؑ سے کہا: "تم اِنہیں اِن چیزوں کے نام بتاؤ" جب اس نے ان کو اُن سب کے نام بتا دیے، تو اللہ نے فرمایا: "میں نے تم سے کہا نہ تھا کہ میں آسمانوں اور زمین کی وہ ساری حقیقتیں جانتا ہوں جو تم سے مخفی ہیں، جو کچھ تم ظاہر کرتے ہو، وہ بھی مجھے معلوم ہے اور جو کچھ تم چھپاتے ہو، اسے بھی میں جانتا ہوں"
