And they say, "Legends of the former peoples which he has written (25:5)

﴿وَقَالُوا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ اكْتَتَبَهَا فَهِيَ تُمْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا﴾
[ الفرقان: 5]

25:5 And they say, "Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon."

And these rejecters of the Qur’ān said, “The Qur’ān is vain tales of the previous people which they used to record; Muhammad has copied them.
They are recited to him throughout the day”.

And they say: "Tales of the ancients, which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon."

phonetic Transliteration

Waqaloo asateeru alawwaleena iktatabaha fahiya tumla AAalayhi bukratan waaseelan

And they say: "Tales of the ancients, which he has caused to be written: and they are dictated before him morning and evening."

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

And they say: "Tales of the ancients which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon. "
