Surah Anbiya ayat 12 Tafsir Quran 21:12

﴿فَلَمَّا أَحَسُّوا بَأْسَنَا إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَرْكُضُونَ﴾
[ الأنبياء: 12]

21:12 And when its inhabitants perceived Our punishment, at once they fled from it.

And when they felt Our might when the inhabitants of the town sensed destruction to be near behold they ran away from it they flee hastily therefrom.

And when they sensed Our wrath approaching, in vain for their life, they fled to other places

(21:12) When they perceived Our Scourge *13 they began to flee the place.

And when its inhabitants perceived Our punishment, meaning

*13) That is, "When they realized that Allah's scourge was actually coming.

( And, when they felt Our might ) when they saw Our chastisement which was to destroy them, ( behold them fleeing from it ) they run away from Our might!

Then, when they perceived (saw) Our Torment (coming), behold, they (tried to) flee from it.
