surah Anbiya aya 12 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿فَلَمَّا أَحَسُّوا بَأْسَنَا إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَرْكُضُونَ﴾
[ الأنبياء: 12]
21:12 And when its inhabitants perceived Our punishment, at once they fled from it.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThen when those who were destroyed saw My destructive punishment, they began to run from their towns to flee destruction.

Then, when they perceived (saw) Our Torment (coming), behold, they (tried to) flee from it.

Falamma ahassoo basana itha hum minha yarkudoona

Yet, when they felt Our Punishment (coming), behold, they (tried to) flee from it.
