Surah Qasas ayat 42 Tafsir Quran 28:42

﴿وَأَتْبَعْنَاهُمْ فِي هَٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا لَعْنَةً ۖ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ هُم مِّنَ الْمَقْبُوحِينَ﴾
[ القصص: 42]

28:42 And We caused to overtake them in this world a curse, and on the Day of Resurrection they will be of the despised.

And We made a curse ignominy pursue them in this world and on the Day of Resurrection they will be among the spurned those banished from God’s mercy.

And We glued them a curse here and with disgrace Hereafter when they shall be viewed with contempt

(28:42) We set a curse to follow them in this world and on the Day of Resurrection, they shall be involved in an awkward predicament. *58

And We caused to overtake them in meaning

*58) The words in the Text mean: " On the Day of Resurrection they will be among the maqbuhin ", which has several meanings: ( l ) They will stand rejected and repulsed; ( 2 ) they will be wholly deprived of Allah's mercy; and ( 3 ) they will be severely beaten up and their faces will become distorted .

 

( And We made a curse to follow them in this world ) We destroyed them in this worldly life by drowning, ( and on the Day of Resurrection they will be among the hateful ) they will have gloomy faces and bluish eyes.

And We made a curse to follow them in this world, and on the Day of Resurrection, they will be among Al-Maqbuhun (those who are prevented to receive Allah's Mercy or any good, despised or destroyed, etc.).
