Surah Yunus ayat 57 Tafsir Quran 10:57

﴿يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَاءٌ لِّمَا فِي الصُّدُورِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴾
[ يونس: 57]

10:57 O mankind, there has to come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers.

O people that is inhabitants of Mecca there has come to you an admonition from your Lord a Book which contains mention of that which is permissible for you and that which is enjoined on you and this Book is the Qur’ān; and a healing a cure for what is in the breasts of corrupt beliefs and uncertainties and a guidance from error and a mercy for those who believe in it.

O you people, there has come to you from Allah, your Creator, an authoritative admonition exhorting you to recognize Him and urges you to what is good and laudable. It serves as an incitement to worship no one but Him and as remedy for your hearts and minds from sinful infirmities of idolatry and infidelity and as a guide and mercy to those whose hearts are impressed with the image of religious and spiritual virtues

O mankind! There has come to you good advice from your Lord, and a cure for that which is in your breasts, – a guidance and a mercy for the believers ( 57 )Say: "In the bounty of Allah, and in His mercy; therein let them rejoice." That is better than what ( the wealth ) they amass ( 58 ) The Qur'an is an Admonition, Cure, Mercy and Guidance Allah confers a great favor on His creatures in what He has sent down of the Gracious Qur'an to His Noble Messenger .
He said: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ ( O mankind! There has come to you good advice from your Lord. ) A warning and a shield from shameful deeds. وَشِفَاءٌ لِّمَا فِي الصُّدُورِ ( and a cure for that which is in your breasts, ) A cure from suspicion and doubts.
The Qur'an removes all the filth and Shirk from the hearts. وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ ( a guidance and a mercy ) The guidance and the mercy from Allah are attained through it.
This is only for those who believe in it and have firm faith in what it contains.
As Allah said: وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا ( And We send down of the Qur'an that which is a cure and a mercy to those who believe, and it increases the wrongdoers nothing but loss. )( 17:82 ) and; قُلْ هُوَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا هُدًى وَشِفَاءٌ ( Say: "It is for those who believe, a guide and a cure." )( 41: 44 ) Allah then said: قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا ( Say: "In the bounty of Allah, and in His mercy; therein let them rejoice." ) rejoice in what has come from Allah.
Let them rejoice in the guidance and the religion of the truth.
It is better than anything they might rejoice in, هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ That is better than what ( the wealth ) they amass.
from the ruins of the world and its vanishing bloom undoubtedly.

O mankind! ( O mankind! ) O people of Mecca! ( There hath come unto you an exhortation ) a warning ( from your Lord ) regarding that which you are now in, ( a balm ) an exposition ( for that which is in the breasts ) of blindness, ( a guidance ) from error ( and a mercy ) which brings relief from punishment ( for believers ).

O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Quran, ordering all that is good and forbidding all that is evil), and a healing for that (disease of ignorance, doubt, hypocrisy and differences, etc.) in your breasts, - a guidance and a mercy (explaining lawful and unlawful things, etc.) for the believers.
