Surah Hud ayat 64 Tafsir Quran 11:64

﴿وَيَا قَوْمِ هَٰذِهِ نَاقَةُ اللَّهِ لَكُمْ آيَةً فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِي أَرْضِ اللَّهِ وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابٌ قَرِيبٌ﴾
[ هود: 64]

11:64 And O my people, this is the she-camel of Allah - [she is] to you a sign. So let her feed upon Allah 's earth and do not touch her with harm, or you will be taken by an impending punishment."

And O my people this is the she-camel of God a sign for you āyatan is a circumstantial qualifier operated by the demonstrative noun hādhihi ‘this’. Leave her to eat in God’s earth and do not cause her any harm by hamstringing her lest you be seized by a near chastisement’ if you do hamstring her.

My people, he added, this is the she -camel of Allah, representing a distinct sign symbolic of the truth of my mission. Let her graze upon the grass- land of Allah and do not lay hands on her nor meddle with her to harm, her, lest you would be overtaken by a dire punishment before long

"And O my people! This she-camel of Allah is a sign to you, so leave her to graze in Allah's land, and touch her not with evil, lest a near torment should seize you.
( 64 )But they slaughtered her.
So he said: "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days.
This is a promise ( a threat ) that will not be belied.
( 65 )So when Our commandment came, We saved Salih and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us, and from the disgrace of that Day.
Verily, your Lord – He is the All-Strong, the All-Mighty ( 66 )And As-Sayhah ( awful cry ) overtook the wrongdoers, so they lay ( dead ), prostrate in their homes ( 67 )As if they had never lived there.
No doubt! Verily, Thamud disbelieved in their Lord.
So away with Thamud!) A discussion of this story has already preceded in Surat Al-A'raf and it is sufficient without having to be repeated here.
Allah is the Giver of succes ( 68 )

( O my people! This is the camel of Allah, a token unto you ) a sign unto you, ( so suffer her ) leave her ( to feed in Allah’s earth ) in the wilderness: you do not have to feed her, ( and touch her not with harm ) do not kill her ( lest a near torment seize you ) after three days.

"And O my people! This she-camel of Allah is a sign to you, leave her to feed on Allah's earth, and touch her not with evil, lest a near torment will seize you."
