Qala ya adamu anbi'hum bi-asma-ihim falamma anbaahum bi-asma-ihim qala alam aqul lakum (surah Baqarah: 33)

﴿قَالَ يَا آدَمُ أَنبِئْهُم بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ ۖ فَلَمَّا أَنبَأَهُم بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَأَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ﴾
[ البقرة: 33]

Qala ya adamu anbi'hum bi-asma-ihim falamma anbaahum bi-asma-ihim qala alam aqul lakum innee aAAlamu ghayba assamawati wal-ardi waaAAlamu ma tubdoona wama kuntum taktumoon

qāla yā ādamu ambi`hum bi`asmā`ihim, fa lammā amba`ahum bi`asmā`ihim qāla a lam aqul lakum innī a'lamu gaibas-samāwāti wal-arḍi wa a'lamu mā tubdụna wa mā kuntum taktumụn

English translation of the meaning

He said, "O Adam, inform them of their names." And when he had informed them of their names, He said, "Did I not tell you that I know the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth? And I know what you reveal and what you have concealed."

پھر اللہ نے آدمؑ سے کہا: "تم اِنہیں اِن چیزوں کے نام بتاؤ" جب اس نے ان کو اُن سب کے نام بتا دیے، تو اللہ نے فرمایا: "میں نے تم سے کہا نہ تھا کہ میں آسمانوں اور زمین کی وہ ساری حقیقتیں جانتا ہوں جو تم سے مخفی ہیں، جو کچھ تم ظاہر کرتے ہو، وہ بھی مجھے معلوم ہے اور جو کچھ تم چھپاتے ہو، اسے بھی میں جانتا ہوں"

He said: "O Adam! Inform them of their names," and when he had informed them of their names, He said: "Did I not tell you that I know the Ghaib (unseen) in the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you have been concealing?"

Dia (Allah) berfirman, “Wahai Adam! Beritahukanlah kepada mereka nama-nama itu!” Setelah dia (Adam) menyebutkan nama-namanya, Dia berfirman, “Bukankah telah Aku katakan kepadamu, bahwa Aku mengetahui rahasia langit dan bumi, dan Aku mengetahui apa yang kamu nyatakan dan apa yang kamu sembunyikan?”
