Bi'sa al-Mihad (Evil is the Couch) in the Holy Quran

﴿وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ ٱتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ أَخَذَتۡهُ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ بِٱلۡإِثۡمِۚ فَحَسۡبُهُۥ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَلَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 206]

(206) And when it is said to him, "Fear Allah," pride in the sin takes hold of him. Sufficient for him is Hellfire, and how wretched is the resting place.

Surah: Al-Baqarah - Verse: 206 - Juz: 2 - Page: 32

﴿قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَتُغۡلَبُونَ وَتُحۡشَرُونَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ﴾ [Āl-‘Imrān: 12]

(12) Say to those who disbelieve, "You will be overcome and gathered together to Hell, and wretched is the resting place."

Surah: Āl-‘Imrān - Verse: 12 - Juz: 3 - Page: 51

﴿مَتَٰعٞ قَلِيلٞ ثُمَّ مَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ﴾ [Āl-‘Imrān: 197]

(197) [It is but] a small enjoyment; then their [final] refuge is Hell, and wretched is the resting place.

Surah: Āl-‘Imrān - Verse: 197 - Juz: 4 - Page: 76

﴿لِلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَجَابُواْ لِرَبِّهِمُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَمۡ يَسۡتَجِيبُواْ لَهُۥ لَوۡ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا وَمِثۡلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لَٱفۡتَدَوۡاْ بِهِۦٓۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ سُوٓءُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ﴾ [Ar-Ra‘d: 18]

(18) For those who have responded to their Lord is the best [reward], but those who did not respond to Him - if they had all that is in the earth entirely and the like of it with it, they would [attempt to] ransom themselves thereby. Those will have the worst account, and their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the resting place.

Surah: Ar-Ra‘d - Verse: 18 - Juz: 13 - Page: 251

﴿جَهَنَّمَ يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ﴾ [Ṣād: 56]

(56) Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place.
