﴿إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ الْجَحِيمِ﴾
[ الصافات: 163]
37:163 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishExcept one whom Allah has decreed is from the people of hell, as Allah will carry out His decree regarding him and so he will disbelieve and enter the fire.
As for you and your gods, you do not have power over that.

" According to this second translation, the meaning would be: "O you who have gone astray, by this worship that you arc performing before us, and regarding us as the children of Allah, Lord of the worlds, you cannot tempt us into mischief. By this you can only beguile a fool who might be working for his own doom. So, we refuse to fall into the trap that you have set for us."
