surah Jinn aya 17 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَن يُعْرِضْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابًا صَعَدًا﴾
[ الجن: 17]
72:17 So We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord He will put into arduous punishment.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishTo test them in that, are they thankful for Allah’s favours or are they ungrateful for them? Whoever turns away from the Qur’ān and the admonitions it contains, His Lord will enter him into a difficult punishment that he will not be able to bear.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
That We might try them thereby. And whosoever turns away from the Reminder of his Lord (i.e. this Quran, and practice not its laws and orders), He will cause him to enter in a severe torment (i.e. Hell).

Linaftinahum feehi waman yuAArid AAan thikri rabbihi yaslukhu AAathaban saAAadan
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
"That We might try them by that (means). But if any turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, He will cause him to undergo a severe Penalty.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
That We might try them thereby. And whosoever turns away from the Reminder of his Lord, He will cause him to enter in a Sa`ad torment.
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(72:17) so that We might try them through this bounty. *17 Whoso turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, *18 He will cause him to suffer a grievous chastisement;
So We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the meaning
*17) "We might try them by that blessing": "We might see whether they remain grateful after having received the blessing or not, and whether they put Our blessing to right use or not. "
*18) "To turn away from Allah's remembrance" means that one may reject the advice and admonition sent down by Allah, or one may disdain giving ear to Allah's remembrance, or one may turn away from the worship of Allah.
So We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the meaning in Urdu
تاکہ اس نعمت سے ان کی آزمائش کریں اور جو اپنے رب کے ذکر سے منہ موڑے گا اس کا رب اسے سخت عذاب میں مبتلا کر دے گا
