English Translation of the Meanings by Muhammad Muhsin Khan and Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali , Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi & English - Sahih International : surah Fussilat aya 21 in arabic text(Expounded).
  
   

﴿وَقَالُوا لِجُلُودِهِمْ لِمَ شَهِدتُّمْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ قَالُوا أَنطَقَنَا اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنطَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ خَلَقَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ﴾
[ فصلت: 21]

English - Sahih International

41:21 And they will say to their skins, "Why have you testified against us?" They will say, "We were made to speak by Allah, who has made everything speak; and He created you the first time, and to Him you are returned.

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

And the disbelievers will say to their skins, “Why did you testify against us, by stating the things we used to do in the world?” Their skins will say in reply to them, “The one who grants everything the ability to speak, granted us the ability to speak.
He is the one who created you initially when you were in the world, and to Him you will return in the Hereafter to give account and be requited.

And they will say to their skins, "Why do you testify against us?" They will say: "Allah has caused us to speak, as He causes all things to speak, and He created you the first time, and to Him you are made to return."

Waqaloo lijuloodihim lima shahidtum AAalayna qaloo antaqana Allahu allathee antaqa kulla shayin wahuwa khalaqakum awwala marratin wailayhi turjaAAoona

They will say to their skins: "Why bear ye witness against us?" They will say: "Allah hath given us speech,- (He) Who giveth speech to everything: He created you for the first time, and unto Him were ye to return.

They will then look for the how and the why and the wherefore their skins betrayed them! But their skins shall voice all their throats proclaiming: Allah has recreated us invested, like everything else, with articulate sound and He created you in the beginning from nothingness and back to Him you return


Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(41:21) They will ask their skins: 'Why did you bear witness against us?' The skins will reply: 'Allah gave us speech, *26 as He gave speech to all others. He it is Who created you for the first time and it is to Him that you will be sent back.

And they will say to their skins, "Why have you testified against meaning

*26) This shows that not only man's own limbs will bear witness on the Day of Resurrection, but every such thing before which man would have committed any crime will also speak out. The same thing has been said in Surah AI-Zilzal, thus: "The earth will cast out all the burdens, which lie within her, and man will say:what has befallen her? On that Day shall she relate whatever had happened (on her), because your Lord will have commanded her (to do so)." (vv. 2-5).
 

And they will say to their skins, "Why have you testified against meaning in Urdu

وہ اپنے جسم کی کھالوں سے کہیں گے "تم نے ہمارے خلاف کیوں گواہی دی؟"وہ جواب دیں گی "ہمیں اُسی خدا نے گویائی دی ہے جس نے ہر چیز کو گویا کر دیا ہے اُسی نے تم کو پہلی مرتبہ پیدا کیا تھا اور اب اُسی کی طرف تم واپس لائے جا رہے ہو
