﴿كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ﴾
[ الزمر: 25]
39:25 Those before them denied, and punishment came upon them from where they did not perceive.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThe nations that were before these idolaters also denied, and thus the punishment came to them suddenly from where they did not perceive so as to prepare for it by repentance.
