surah Anbiya aya 34 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَمَا جَعَلْنَا لِبَشَرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ الْخُلْدَ ۖ أَفَإِن مِّتَّ فَهُمُ الْخَالِدُونَ﴾
[ الأنبياء: 34]
21:34 And We did not grant to any man before you eternity [on earth]; so if you die - would they be eternal?
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishO Messenger, I have not given eternity in this life to any human before you.
So if your life comes to an end in this life and you pass away, will they live forever after you? Never.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
And We granted not to any human being immortality before you (O Muhammad SAW), then if you die, would they live forever?

Wama jaAAalna libasharin min qablika alkhulda afain mitta fahumu alkhalidoona

We granted not to any man before thee permanent life (here): if then thou shouldst die, would they live permanently?
