﴿وَزُخْرُفًا ۚ وَإِن كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَالْآخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ﴾
[ الزخرف: 35]

English - Sahih International

43:35 And gold ornament. But all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous.

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

I would also give them gold.
All that is only the temporary enjoyment of the world; its benefit is little because of its ultimate extinction.
However O Messenger, the bounties of the afterlife are better according to your Lord, for those who are mindful of Him by fulfilling His commands and refrain from that which He has prohibited.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

And adornments of gold. Yet all this (i.e. the roofs, doors, stairs, elevators, thrones etc. of their houses) would have been nothing but an enjoyment of this world. And the Hereafter with your Lord is only for the Muttaqun.

Wazukhrufan wain kullu thalika lamma mataAAu alhayati alddunya waalakhiratu AAinda rabbika lilmuttaqeena

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

And also adornments of gold. But all this were nothing but conveniences of the present life: The Hereafter, in the sight of thy Lord is for the Righteous.
