Moses said to them, "Throw whatever you will throw." (26:43)

﴿قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰ أَلْقُوا مَا أَنتُم مُّلْقُونَ﴾
[ الشعراء: 43]

26:43 Moses said to them, "Throw whatever you will throw."

Confident in Allah’s help and in order to show clearly that whatever he possessed was not magic, Moses said to them, “Throw whatever ropes and sticks you want to!”

Musa (Moses) said to them: "Throw what you are going to throw!"

Qala lahum moosa alqoo ma antum mulqoona

Moses said to them: "Throw ye - that which ye are about to throw!"
