surah Tahrim aya 7 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا الْيَوْمَ ۖ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ﴾
[ التحريم: 7]
66:7 O you who have disbelieved, make no excuses that Day. You will only be recompensed for what you used to do.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThe disbelievers will be told on the day of resurrection: O you who have disbelieved in Allah! Do not make excuses today for the disbelief and sins you used to commit, because your excuses will not be accepted.
Today, you will be requited only for the disbelief in Allah and rejection of His Messengers you used to perpetrate in the world.

(It will be said in the Hereafter) O you who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism)! Make no excuses this Day! You are being requited only for what you used to do.

Ya ayyuha allatheena kafaroo la taAAtathiroo alyawma innama tujzawna ma kuntum taAAmaloona
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
(They will say), "O ye Unbelievers! Make no excuses this Day! Ye are being but requited for all that ye did!"
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
(It will be said in the Hereafter) O you who disbelieve! Make no excuses this Day! You are being requited only for what you used to do.

*18) The style of both these verses contains a severe warning for the Muslims. In the first verse the Muslims have been addressed and told that they should save themselves and their households from the dreadful punishment; in the second that this will be said to the disbelievers while subjecting them to punishment in Hell. This by itself gives the meaning that the Muslims in the world should avoid adopting that conduct and behaviour in consequence of which they may have to meet with the fate as the disbelievers in the Hereafter:
