surah Kahf aya 81 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿فَأَرَدْنَا أَن يُبْدِلَهُمَا رَبُّهُمَا خَيْرًا مِّنْهُ زَكَاةً وَأَقْرَبَ رُحْمًا﴾
[ الكهف: 81]
18:81 So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishSo I wanted Allah to replace them with a child better than him in religion, piety and purity from sins, and more merciful to his parents.

"So we intended that their Lord should change him for them for one better in righteousness and near to mercy.

Faaradna an yubdilahuma rabbuhuma khayran minhu zakatan waaqraba ruhman
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
"So we desired that their Lord would give them in exchange (a son) better in purity (of conduct) and closer in affection.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
"So we intended that their Lord should exchange him for them for one better in righteousness and nearer to mercy."
